The Installers explained everything they were going to do, how long it would take, and what they needed from me (NOTHING). They brought all tools and parts, NO trips into town or the parts supply store was required. They even wore little booties over their foot ware so not to get my floors dirty. The Job took most of a day and they left NO trash, or scraps of metal ducting laying around for me to step on. They knocked each time they had to enter MY home and made sure the doors were shut tight so my dogs wouldn't sneak out. They were very considerate and thoughtful. "SERVICE AFTER INSTALL" Part 3 of 3 On one of the hottest days of the year (90+) the NEW unit would Not produce COLD air. I had people and animals all looking at me saying "Well Do Something", I/m melting here. Yes we were all hot and getting crankier by each passing second and each raising degree. I called the company ("MADISON HVAC") that just recently installed a New system in my home. I just spent $$ on cold air and heat and i'm not getting A/C. They tried to fix the system over the phone but no go so they scheduled a service tech the next opening. The tech arrived and was again friendly and polite. He asked about the issues, and got to work, minutes later he had the system up and running. The part that went out was covered by warranty. They can and will work here anytime. I hear they might be expanding into construction, I will be talking to them for my remodeling jobs in the near future if they want to. Yes They Get 5 Stars. Even though they were booked up she called back shortly to say she had a tech coming out to look at it. George showed up and fixed it very quickly. Simply a clogged line. I called jones Saturday and told them my mom needs a 55/5 UF capacitor and I asked if he had one in stock it turned out he did have the exact capacitor we needed on his truck and came by within the hour to install it. They charged a very reasonable $65 service call fee and no extra for a weekend appointment. Now my mom's air conditioner is working again. It's tough these days find someone who does what they say and keep their word, I always appreciate it when I find someone who does. Super nice guy and I appreciate you helping my mom out. She is in my friends list and I trust her reviews. I also saw photo's of the business owner and his family, plus some of his past work, indicating to me I was looking at an honest man. But to be sure, I utilized BBB for a background check and found zero complaints in the past year, an A+ rating and that they were BBB Accredited. So I gave them a call. Ron answered the phone at 7:52 am on a Saturday. This was a huge indicator to me I was going to be doing business with a good company. He told me he had one customer ahead of me but that he would be over between 11:30-12:30 and that he would call thirty minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He called me back at 10:26 am and arrived in 15 minutes. He assessed the work to be done, quoted a price, then left to pick up a new water heater and associated parts & pieces and arrived back around an hour later. I doubled checked with my sister, who owns five houses, on his quoted price and found he came in little bit less than her prediction. Ron and his son, who was helping him, installed a new water heater, and upgraded the water pipes and gas line, along with new valves on both, to meet today's codes. He completed the work in two and a half hours. We were completely 100% satisfied with the work, his timeliness, consideration of cleanliness and knowledge of his trade. Would not hesitate to call him again for any plumbing needs.
