That's normal and expected, and no way possible to anticipate and estimate over the phone. I question the brake line review as I was a boy once and I raised three of them... I'm guessing there may have been a bit of a communication breakdown somewhere and I suspect it was between his ears. I'm guessing it was more an issue of him not understanding everything. My recommendation is: a) bring your problem to Brian, b) have him look at it, diagnose it, and then give you repair options/prices, c) have him fix it.

I spent about $1500 on tires, bought the warranty they said covers "everything." End of summer 2024 I was having issues with my tires, went back to Firestone, they said I voided my warranty by not rotating my tires with them every 3000 miles. What?! I'm almost 50, i have never had my tires rotated - ever - and not once had a problem. Could drive for 30k miles + on any other tires I've owned. Until those tires. They said I needed all 4 tires again. So I finally listened to my coworkers and went to A&J in RI and he hooked me up with 4 almost new tires for $400. The same price as ONE tire anywhere else. It's been about 3 months driving on them and they have been great! No slipping in the rain, controlled stops, no leaks, etc. Excellent service! I called one day to see what they had in stock and they were installed the next day while i waited. The only thing I would have done differently was to go to A & J the first tine.

It was about the third day of having her car back and she started to hear a rubbing noise. So she called to make an appointment and was told it would be a couple days before the could look at it. So the guy on the phone told her to turn her radio up so she couldn't hear the rubbing noise until she could get it there. What kind of hillbilly B S is that! Luckily, she had her relative come over to look at her car before taking it back there. The so called " we'll make sure you're 100 0/0 satisfied " didn't tighten her lug nuts all of the way. Do not take your car or let anybody you know take anything there to be repaired!
