My Honda CB750 Nighthawk is almost 30 years old: Other than oil changes I had done no maintenance on it and for the last six years has been sitting in my garage unused. Needless to say, it needed some expert care, and Keith at Pro Motorcycle was that expert. Don't be fooled by the "Carburetor" in the shop name; Keith can do it all and with extremely high quality, attention to detail, and fair cost. In addition to carb service, I got new tires and a fork seal repair. The bike runs like new. And to top it off, Keith cleaned it up, so it looks new too. It runs so well that I won't skimp on maintenance. And when that time comes, there's only one place that I will go: Pro Motorcycle Carburetor Service. And if you are wondering, how did I find this shop? Those thanks go to my daughter's friend Johnny. read more

Keith loves what he does and it shows in his work ethic. After years of sitting in the garage, I knew my 2001 KLX might need more than a carb cleanout, but was afraid to take it to a dealer knowing they would try to upsell me on something crazy, but also knew the fuel valve might be an issue and more than I wanted to tackle. Keith diagnosed within a day, texted me photos of the petcock valve and dirty carb - had it back up and running better than it has in years! Thanks to Keith our week in Telluride trail riding went off without a hitch (other than on the trailer ;) Thanks Keith - you're the BEST! read more

Keith is a master of all carburetors. He took my basically non running bike and made it purr like it was new. Don't take your bike to anyone else but Keith. read more

Bottom line is my Yamaha Kodiak ATV truly does run like new again! I highly recommend Keith for carburetor service and certainly will go back to him if I need my ATV serviced again, but with the guidance I got from Keith for keeping the carburetor from getting gummed up again I may never need to go back! I have an older (2000) Yamaha Kodiak ATV that was increasingly idling and running poorly and had had the carburetor serviced 2x before at the Longmont Kawasaki dealership but it never really ran quite right after their service. I searched around and found Keith at Pro Motorcycle Carburetor Service was very highly recommended so I called him to get a sense of how professional and competent he was given that it was not the usual powersport dealership service department experience. It was apparent that Keith is very capable, honest and forthright in his business dealings so I was comfortable having him service the carburetor. He performed the work quickly with timely and very detailed communication (including photos of the inside of the carburetor and the various parts that were being cleaned and/or replaced) and I even was able to pick up my ATV later that same day. Couldn't be more pleased with the quality and price of the service. Sometimes I wonder when I look at reviews if there are fake reviews being posted but I'm absolutely confident that all the 5 star reviews for Keith are real! read more

Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a motorcylce repair. Every aspect of the process from the first call to riding my mc home was top notch. Keith is thorough, skilled (even manufactured missing dowels), easy to communicate with, and extremely accurate and timely. Don't waste your time with others who promise and underdeliver. He did what he said, when he said (actually ahead of schedule). He even did extra stuff to make my bike run even better and he was reasonable with his prices. I had a terrific experience and my vintage '82 Honda Magna v45 runs like a champ now! I hope I never have to go anywhere else ever again. read more

When I first fired up my 2003 Nighthawk 750 this season, it was leaking gas out of one of the carb bowls. A friend recommended that I call Keith and let him have a crack at cleaning them. Keith suggested a complete rebuild, citing the fact that the rubber parts had worn and simply cleaning the carbs wouldn't resolve that issue. His prices were more than fair and the turnaround was quick, so I agreed. While he was in there, he found that the previous owner had rebuilt the carbs at one point, but had used a poor quality rebuilt kit with many incorrectly-sized parts, and had installed the carbs incorrectly, all of which had made the throttle have a lag in it. I had never noticed it before, and thought it ran great. Well, now I know what I was missing. The power now comes on as soon as the throttle opens the slightest amount, and there is absolutely no hesitation anywhere in the throttle's range. Keith's customer service is as stellar as his carburetor work, too. When I first got the bike back, it ran great. Over the next two weeks, it began to feel choked out at higher revs, so he said bring it back and he would go back over his work to check for anything he might have missed. Turns out that the air filter was clogged with excessive engine oil. During that process, he readjusted the carbs to run a little bit leaner in the mixture, but only charged me the price of the air filter. I'll never take it anywhere else for carb work, that's for sure! read more

I telephoned Keith for help with my 1982 CB900 Custom. He was able to determine the likely problem and advised me on the course of action I needed to take to rebuild the four Keihin carbs on my bike. I did what he recommended and it absolutely corrected the problem (x4). We are fortunate to have him and his decades of experience to call upon for assistance. Thanks Keith! read more

I called Keith to see about a possible re jet for my '04 VTX. I dropped off my bike and left. a few blocks later I received a call back stating that the issues wasn't with the carburetor at all. He could have just done the work and made the money and not said a word, but he didn't. He was kind, polite and very knowledgeable about his craft but above all he was honest. He said, "If I can't fix this so well that when you come back to get it you go, "holy crap! It rides amazing!" then I don't want to just take your money for no reason." To me, as a business owner myself, to see that kind of integrity and honesty still out there gives me hope for the future. A1 customer service, A1 knowledgeably and my new forever stop for any and all carburetor service and a recommended stop for all in need of it.. -Doc- read more

I can't say enough good things about Keith. I had bought a used DRZ250 and it would barely start and the idle was awful. Keith had running like it was new after just a few days. 6 weeks later and it still starts on the first kick. He was great about letting me know the status of the repair and the final cost was within a few dollars of what he quoted before he had even seen the bike. I don't know why anyone would take their bike anywhere else. Thanks again, Keith!! read more

I should have written this a long time ago. Keith did a great job on my 1990 DR350. Took it from a 47-kicks-to-start bike that gave inconsistent power to a 1-kick wonder. Great work, friendly to deal with, and quick turnaround. Can't ask for more. read more

Keith brought my smile back. My '90 Honda CB-1 was a hot mess after another motorcycle mechanic had "fixed" it. The carburetor wasn't synced properly, it was running hot, the idle was going crazy and riding it wasn't making me smile. Keith was such a great find!!! He got my bike running like it was 1990 again! He was straightforward, honest and detailed the whole time. Sent texts and pictures of the progress. He went above n beyond, even washed my bike, filled up the tank, adjusted parts without even charging me. He's the real deal! He's 100% trustworthy! Love his passion for motorcycle Carburetors!!! Thank you Keith for bringing back my smile! Donna read more

I have an old (1983) KZ750 twin that other shops in Fort Collins and Loveland did not have the time for, the desire to look at, or work on...BUT... Pro Motorcycle Carb Service did.
