Not knowing that they primarily deal with contractors my bill did not meet the minimum charge. They will have items that no one else has in town but beware to make sure you purchase enough for the minimum charge. Also it appears that they're running an out of date point-of-sale systems, this makes sense if they're primarily dealing with contractor.

I wanted to do my own mowing, but could no longer take care of the beds. They told me they could only take care of my beds if I included mowing, as they would not do it separately. I reluctantly agreed. They never did anything to the beds unless I called. They mowed the grass too short way into Dec. 2023, and I lost a lot of St. Augustine in the freezes that year. Their rep said it was because of everything under the sun except their having scalped the yard well into cooler weather: he said I had too much shade, and I needed topsoil and I should aerate. So, I had the trees thinned and trimmed (per HIS recommendation); I let them aerate and add topsoil. The grass was just starting to recover last summer when they mowed it too short all the way into December again. I lost half of what was left of my grass. Now they are saying I still have too much shade, etc. The deal is, I have had the same shade level for almost 15 years. The yard looked pretty nice when I was able to care for it; now I have mostly bare dirt. When I told them I wanted to drop the mowing service but keep the chemical service, the rep told me they don't do separate packages like that anymore. Oh, and they don't consistently return calls, nor do messages get to the crew that actually does the work. Lately, I was calling at least once a week, sometimes more, to try to get them to quit scalping the yard every time they mowed what little grass I have, and give it a chance to recover. But the crew told me they had not been told. Oh, and it's a different crew every time. This is to say nothing of the broken sprinkler heads and flagstones. So, I am sure I have become the caller that they say, "Oh, no, it's her again." But they wouldn't hear from me if they were doing things right. At any rate, I fired them from the mowing, and they "fired" me from the chemicals. I guess we are even.

It took him 3 days to do what should have been a simple job due to his recklessness. It should have been a warning sign when he showed up 2 hours late on the first day. He had to make multiple trips to the store for parts due to his incompetence. A week after the repair the pipe is leaking again and he refuses to come back and fix it. Then after I started googling his name I found a very shady background.

I've tried to call them numerous times, only to be told that the voice mail boxes were full and to try again later. Obviously, they feel that they have enough business and don't want any more customers. I don't see how any business can be that secure in their customer base.

Next they rototilled but didn't rake it or level it before they laid the sod lawn is really uneven and rough hard to walk on without breaking an ankle. I have a text from Wes saying the people that he had do my yard did bad work and no longer work fo him but didn't offer to fix any of their bad work.The sod was in such poor condition when they laid it was falling apart and very thin weeds immediately started growing threw the sod the sprinklers don't reach all the grass also some of the heads are set so deep they don't clear the grass if it's long their answer to that is for me to trim area they came back out once to look said it was fine asked them again to look said they would in a couple of days it's been about 10 days now they don't respond to anything now. This has been a total waste of money I would not recommend Ashley's Landscaping.
