I didn't have to wait long (even as a walk-in) and the lab process itself was quick. The nurse who helped me was very considerate. Don't let the bad reviews discourage you, I think they've cleaned up their act and are running a great operation over there.

He helped me with job and life transitions and gave me the personal tools to make these transitions easier. I would not be at the successful place that I am without his help and guidance in my past. He gave me great insight to helping deal with issues I honestly was not recognizing in my personal life. As someone who had never seen a counselor I was timid and skeptical about counseling, and he made me realize what a positive life changing experience it can be with his comfortable demeanor and approach. He will not sugar coat but will kindly guide and help find truth and reality through self reflection. I would highly recommend checking him out if you are going through similar issues -- I'm glad I did.

Her technique is difficult to explain and probably differs from patient to patient, but as a former patient dealing with the same life struggles that so many people deal with, I can say that seeing her helped me after a tragedy in my life when more traditional analytical therapists did not. I am equipped to more gracefully deal with life's issues. I now know and understand myself better. If you can get in to see her, I highly recommend it. She's also incredibly kind, empathetic and compassionate.

They offer a whole body wellness approach that includes somatic sessions, yoga, breath work, acupuncture, CBT, DBT, and IFS groups (to name a few!). The team offered recovery coaches and clinical therapist - a collaborative, experienced, and insightful team of professionals. The Adventure Recovery outings were so important in helping me regain confidence in building healthy, sober connections with others. These sober adventures included paddle boarding on Lake Champlain, River Rafting, cold water plunges with breath work workshops, hiking, rock climbing, pickleball, and so many more activities. River Rock changed the course of my life. The hardest thing was to reach out and ask for help. That fear was put to rest immediately upon my first phone session with their wonderful Admissions Mgr, Mary, she is the best of the best. Choosing the right program for regaining my mental and emotional health was the most important decision I've made in recent years. River Rock is truly a light house standing as a beacon of hope for those of us being tossed about in the turbulent waters of life. If you need help with an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, other substance abuse, or are struggling with severe anxiety or depression...they can offer resources and guidance to sobriety, stability and clarity. I will remain forever grateful for the care team at River Rock Treatment.
