I'm sitting here thinking how I intend to call TLC for Autumn Clean up and leaf removal because…read morethey did such a great job for me last December. I am not always on top of my reviews! Anyway, I needed to have a tree removed that was nearly completely dead. The Trees on my property in East Quogue haven't been attended to for at least 30 years. I called TLC having seen their equipment at another location and scheduled for Paul to come and have a look. There were about 20 trees on the property at the time. Paul and I took a walk around the property and he discussed with me the things that he felt would be good to do. He was thorough and totally non pressure. It was clear that if I just wanted the one tree down that was fine, but as I thought about it I began to picture how much better my property would look with a high canopy of trees rather than the low canopy that I currently had which was not especially attractive and also had the effect of making my house rather dark. In addition it would benefit the health of my trees. I scheduled for TLC to remove three trees which were in very poor shape and to trim up all the remaining trees. The job was done on time as promised in 3 visits. The TLC crew knows what they are doing! They were careful to trim the trees in the proper fashion, in fact they were pretty incredible to see at work...have a look at the attached picture! I enthusiastically recommend TLC. Paul and his crew were great to deal with. The price was reasonable. Our tree canopy looks great now. They did a neat job on time as promised. TLC is a great resource for tree and related services.

They took down several incredibly large trees, many of them right next to and overhanging my home. These were huge trees in very tight spaces, and the crew handled everything with incredible skill and care. They worked quickly, safely, and with no damage to my property. The cleanup afterward was excellent, and the whole crew was so polite and professional. I was honestly amazed watching how skilled they were -- they made something so big and complicated look easy. I couldn't be happier with their work. If you need trees taken down, especially big ones near your house, I highly recommend them. Truly a 10-star experience!

DO NOT PURCHASE FIREWOOD FROM THIS COMPANY They advertise…read more that all wood is 100% seasoned and all hardwood. I purchased 2 cords from them, it was far from seasoned at 35- 45% moisture content. Even worse then the wood being wet and covered in mud it contained 25% pine. The delivery guy named Tom Gunns claims that he just picks up the wood and drops it off and that he is not responsible for the quality and that I should call Vinny Alfieri the owner of the wood yard. Needless to say Vinny does not return phone calls if there is a problem, he will only call back if he can sell you some wet dirty pine that he has advertised as seasoned hardwood. Very disappointed especially with the lack of integrity from someone claiming to be a Veteran.
