I saw him individually and for my marriage at the time. Most people that I talk to about counseling saw" what do I saw"? There is no script you need to say to your counselor. In my very 1st session, I cried for 30 plus minutes because I was in so much pain about my marriage heading for divorce. I was all over the place with my thoughts. Each time I went, I got better with crying in most of my sessions. Dr. Kola was patient and kind in letting me take my time to get to the root of my thoughts and feelings. Dr.Kola, by far, is one of the best counselors I have ever had. This is his calling. In 2021, I still see him, and now it became a family thing. My 23-year-old is seeing him also. His insight, encouragement, and mentorship will be a part of our lives until he decides to retire. We might still try to bother him in his retirement.

I have a serious issue with this facility, my friend was in dire need of help and emitted herself…read moreto a hospital that she was unaware of, the suicide line did not tell her where she was going, or what the place was like before dropping her off at this hellish place. She ended up being stranded and held hostage at this facility for about a week with no results besides more mental scars that she has to try and heal on top of the ones she had to begin with. My friend is strong and resilient but just to survive in this place she had to act completely out of character just to get her voice out, she and many others have been neglected, pushed aside, degraded , and out right dehumanized! having bed bugs in the facility is a safety and health hazard, not categorizing your patience and having everyone together male, female, insane, and least insane is a major liability! my friend could have died and I could have never seen her again! And the nurses were nothing but rude, heartless, and money hungry. I've worked in retirement homes that had more care than what these people had to offer! And also Dr. Figiel's nurse practitioner Monique count your days of being funded by the government because I will be coming for your job! talking to my friend in such a disgusting manor, using her information against her to get a gripe out of her emotionally and mentally after she was vulnerable to tell you to get help, and to be petty to get a last word is not what a nurse does. Im sorry to say that you will be putting fries in the bag somewhere else On top of this they are withholding her medical papers in order to go back to work, further crippling her mental as she's trying to get back into the work force to survive. All of the practictioners here take different types of insurance, some take Medicare and Medicaid, and have different hours and availability. I have been a patient of Darrin Bronfman, LCSW for over 9 years now. We meet together on a weekly basis to address issues related to my diagnosed bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and PTSD. During the years i have taken jobs which required travel or had medical issues that kept me homebound and we still met via phone or Skype on a weekly basis. Mr. Bronfman has always made himself available for after hours coaching in emergency situations by email or phone. He takes more of a psychodynamic approach to therapy, combining cognitive behavioral and DBT concepts in as well. I have improved significantly in the last few years thanks to his coaching and support. Mr. Bronfman has also successfully met with friends and family members of mine over the years to help them understand my illness and behavior. For several years I was in a dating relationship and Mr Bronfman referred us to one of his trainees for couples counseling. The trainee was well educated and supervised throughout her work with us. She helped us come to the difficult yet necessary decision that our relationship was not sustainable. We appreciated her guidance and were able to remain friends beyond. The trainee has since gone on to maintain her own successful practice elsewhere thanks to her experience at Pathway. I attribute the work Ive done with Darrin to be critical to the improvements I have made in my illness, improvements I have made as a human being and in my personal and professional relationships. 9 years ago I could not hold down a dating relationship or job - now I work full time and have positive interpersonal interactions in all areas of my life.
