More important, once I signed up with them, they got me assignments and good-paying ones too. I also had a dedicated contact person to call if there were any problems or questions that came up. I had to do a few rent-a-receptionist and chair-warmer gigs to start out with, but this is pretty standard. Once I proved myself reliable, they assigned me to the better-paying and longer-term gigs at places like BC Hydro and UBC. I can't say by how much, but I found that they also paid a better cut of their rate than you'd find at some of the other temp agencies in town. I worked with them almost exclusively for almost two years and they were good to me. If you must temp, check them out.
