Have been last minute rescheduled twice in a row, used to like em but if you respect your time or schedule its not feasible to work with. They will charge you 50 dollars for a last minute reschedule (i didnt but I asked once as I hadnt been feeling well) but will reschedule you last minute constantly. On April 28, 2026 I went to Pristine Dental to get a quote for treatment. I came to Pristine Dental after having received treatment at another dental office about one month prior, where multiple injuries occurred. During my appointment with Pristine Dental, I met with Dr. Keith Cooper. I informed Dr. Keith Cooper that I needed the four molars (2, 3, 18, and 19) damaged by the previous dentist repaired and new veneers for teeth 6-11. Now, the one clear statement that Dr. Keith Cooper made regarding my proposed treatment is that tooth 2-3 would be an onlays, tooth 18-19 would be a crown, and that tooth 7 was already a crown. As he never suggested any other treatment for teeth 6-11 after I requested a quote for new veneers, I concluded that the veneers on 6-11 would be replaced with new veneers as I had requested. Leanne, an employee of Pristine Dental, presented me with the Treatment Plan at the end of this appointment. I noticed that Crown was listed as the treatment for all teeth (2, 3, 18, 19, and 6-11). By this point Dr. Keth Cooper had made multiple statements saying: - "I charge the same price for a crown or for a veneer for a reason, because it doesn't matter what I'm doing" - "but my point is, I just quote you a price, and you don't even have to worry." - "let's talk about six veneers. And I'm just going to call them veneers/crowns, and then whatever you need we'll fix. We'll just give you one price. It's not one price for the veneer and one price for the crown. Same price, it doesn't matter." I thought it was odd that the Treatment Plan listed all crowns, since full crowns had only been discussed for 18 and 19, but the many statements I quoted from Dr. Keith Cooper led me to believe that it was just how they structured their fees. I still pointed out the "Crown" charge on the Treatment Plan for all teeth and verified twice with Leanne that it included the veneers and it was verbally confirmed twice by Leanne that it included the veneers. Because this treatment plan that listed all crowns was verified as including the replacement veneers we had discussed, I did not question any future Treatment Plan or Consent that listed Crowns. After the signing appointment, I became concerned that Dr. Keith Cooper may have plans for my teeth that were not communicated to me clearly or at all, and I began repeatedly requesting a detailed written report from the treating Prosthodontist himself, Dr. Keith Cooper. Eventually, I was sent a Clinical Note signed by Dr. Keith Cooper that confirmed that my anterior restorations would be replaced and that onlays, partial crowns, or full crowns were being considered for my molars. On the day of the procedure, June 2, 2026, I arrived to my sedation appointment having already taken a 0.25mg tablet of Triazolam. More was administered throughout the appointment. During a break in the procedure, I realized that they had already crown prepped teeth 6, 7, and 8. I began asking them why they were doing crown prep when I thought we were doing veneers. Despite my obvious confusion and objections, they continued and proceeded to crown prep teeth 9, 10, and 11. Because I was too heavily sedated to remain conscious, I was unable to object further and fell asleep a few minutes later. All ten teeth (2, 3, 18, 19, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) had been crown prepped for a full crown. On June 29, 2026, Leanne emailed me and claimed that 90% of the work was done and they would only be willing to refund 50%, contingent on a "signed settlement and release, acknowledging the resolution of all financial matters related to your treatment with our office". Pristine Dental chose to include the buildups on 6-11 that they themselves admitted were not performed and agreed to refund in this calculation. They also chose to include the uninformed and unauthorized destruction of teeth 6-11 in their calculation of the work completed. I responded that same day, informing them that I would not be waiving my rights in exchange for a refund. Because Pristine Dental performed an irreversible procedure on me without my informed consent, I did not continue treatment with them. It is now July 15, 2026 and I am still in plastic temporaries covering my ten crown-prepped teeth. I have since suffered extreme pain caused either by the traumatic occlusion from these ill-fitting temporaries or the infection that caused my gums and the right side of my face to swell up. read more

This issue is similar to what others have said - even with in network dental coverage they always seem to come up with $100-600 that isn't covered. I went in on my wife's recommendation, and I regret it. I had two different appointments to get fillings done on each side of my mouth. The right side went okay, but the dentist struggled to reach the back teeth. On the second appointment for the left side, the dentist was unable to get to the back teeth without causing me to gag. She left the filling and sent me on my way. The filling hurt almost immediately, and the pain lasted for days. I asked for a different dentist from Pristine to take a look at the filling. The second dentist filed down some of the fillings, and she said the filling was not actually completed. The second dentist wanted to schedule (maybe upsell?) a crown to fix the issue. I went back to my old dentist, who was able to fix and complete the filling without issue. The hygienist at my old dentist's office thought it was wild that a crown was recommended and that a dentist would look at that filling and think it was okay. Pristine offered to support the payment to get the tooth fixed, but they only refunded what they charged me for their poor work. My wife, who was very excited about Dr. Charles (who was not one of the dentists I saw) and had a good experience, decided to leave Pristine Dental as well. Dentists make mistakes or have issues, but Pristine compounds dental mistakes with shifty business practices and recommendations that aren't in the best interest of the patient. read more

We found Pristine Dental on our insurer's website. Upon arrival we were told that Pristine does not take our insurance. My wife was ready to leave but was told that Pristine would do my daughter's exam and cleaning for the same price that we would pay out of pocket for our insurance, which was zero dollars. Months later we got a bill from Pristine for $95.00. When we asked Pristine to honor the promise they had made to my wife, to charge no more than insurance would have charged, Pristine denied the promise and refused. All I can say about this office is get everything in writing because they will obviously not honor oral agreements. read more

3 stars for the staff, office, and I really loved my cleaning. Would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, Pristine claimed to be in network and take my dental insurance. Until they wanted more $$$, that is. My routine annual cleaning should have been fully covered. Pristine claimed my insurance paid on a "fee schedule" and wouldn't cover all of it. That was a lie. There is no fee schedule for this service through my insurance, and my maximum out of pocket deductible for the entire year was less than the bill Pristine sent me. Found this gem of an office while passing by my doctor's office. Not gonna lie, the girly girl pink shade and lights outside drew me in. Upon entering the lobby I encountered more pink, white and sparkles. The tv in the waiting room looks like a painting! They have an amazing full body massage chair along with coffee and water. The toilet in the bathroom has led motion lights in the toilet. The staff are so friendly: from Paula in the front, the hygienists and the dentist. I had a hand wax while I had my teeth cleaning. I ended up getting a crown done. Dr. Schena was very thorough and critical about how the mold came out and how it ended up being seated. I'm really glad I found this place. I had preregistered online as a new cosmetic veneer patient. The receptionist asked me to sign a pad and this would confirm the documents I had written online. I explained several times that signing a blank pad, not seeing the document, was not enforceable and stupid. A signature isn't valid if the signatory can't see the applicable documents. I noted that I could be signing the US Constitution for all I know. This is their routine practice. She was frustrated and thought I was being rude and asked me to leave. I asked to speak with a manager to no avail. Man, was I surprised when she told me that she was the current owner and manager! I've been to Pristine a handful of times over the last couple years, and I've ALWAYS, had a great experience. But, this last time was just amazing. I even went home and told my boyfriend about it lol I don't remember what my hygienist's name was, but she told me she fills in for people and isn't there full-time. She was fantastic. She educated me while she was doing my cleaning. Telling me what I was doing well, what I could do better on, and even told me about Burst, which is the electric toothbrush she uses/loves. I'm about to go buy it! The new doctor, Dr. Charles is so great too! She's very endearing and you can tell right away that she genuinely cares about your dental health. I also love the gal who rings me up after my appt! I think she may be the office manager, but she is always so bubbly/outgoing/conversational and it's super comforting. My mom had an emergency dental situation that led us to finding Pristine. I'm glad we did! She had not been to a dentist in a couple years and recently switched insurances and needed to find a new place. The insurance company (Mutual of Omaha) gave us a few recommendations. Pristine was able to fit her in the next day and verify her coverage before the appt. One of the many great things about Pristine are there hours. I believe they are open 7-7 Monday to Thursday. They're open until 6 on Fridays, and even open on Saturdays for a few hours. The office itself is cute! Lots of pink, crystals, comfy seating, and a nice little refreshment area w/lots of coffee options & sparkling water. The exam rooms are clean & all of the support staff are extremely friendly. I met Dr Mitchell briefly and he was very knowledgeable & personable. My mom confirmed that he was an excellent dentist. I have been coming to Pristine Dental for a few years now and really enjoyed it overall at the start, but my most recent visits have not been the same. Some positives: 1. Great location for me and a newer, modern, clean building with TVs in the rooms. 2. Overall staff is friendly and welcoming. 3. When COVID is not happening it is fairly easy to book, and change appointments if needed. 4. Decently priced and if you get the right hygienist and doctor your treatment is great. Areas to work on: 1. Timing and double/triple booking patients with one doctor. Having patients wait upwards of an hour for treatment is not acceptable. Plus not communicating why there is an extended wait is even more frustrating especially when you are numb and ready for work, then have to be numbed again because of how long it took to start. 2. Trying not to push so many things on patients-night guards, healing paste, etc. 3. More communication about quotes and pricing. Saying one thing, quoting another and actually having something else done with multiple steps between people to clarify. 4. Not having other employees coming into patient rooms while the doctor is working on said patient and distracting them from their work to answer questions about scheduling, that is something the front desk should be doing not a doctor working. Had multiple times my last visit. 4. Turn over of staff and doctors and only having certain days for certain people. I have seen at least 3 doctors since starting here about 2 years ago. I really loved Dr. Charles and her attention to detail, going above and beyond for patients and her bedside manner. Very skilled! I really hope she stays as she might be the only reason I come back. Overall it is decent and can get the job done, but lots of disorganization, lack of communication and seems like the employees and what they used to do for patients is going down hill from a high standard to a just okay one. read more

After years of struggling with periodontal disease, I finally caved and decided to get a full set of dentures. I trusted Pristine for this and now regret that decision with all of my wallet. The staff there are extremely friendly though moderately incompetent. When casting the mold for my dentures, the girl put so much "putty" in my mouth that it started going down my throat and when I leaned forward to gag it up, she pushed me back in the chair and ordered me to stay leaning back. I fought her off and spit the mold out and told her that she almost killed me. Then she admitted that it was her first time doing this solo so she went and got someone else. The rest of the process was fairly smooth that day, but then I was told to visit an oral surgeon and have my remaining teeth removed. After learning that removal was going to cost an additional $5k, I called Pristine back and told them I'd have to put this off for a while, but Dr. C offered to do extraction for $2.5k, so I agreed. That was a big mistake! Dr. C didn't do the extraction, but had some new member of their staff do it. This "newly licensed" surgeon removed 27 teeth without a single suture and sent me on my way to heal. I lost so much blood in the next few hours that I seriously considered a trip to ER. I did survive it, but my gums will never be the same. After many soft reline visits over the next few months, I was finally ready for a hard reline and really looking forward to a permanent set of dentures. Then, and only then, was I informed that the hard reline was an additional $500, on top of the money I had already paid for the dentures! When I argued about the extra cost, Dr. C's attitude completely changed. I ended up paying the extra cost, nonetheless, but the friendly helpful dentist that had been so nice to me over the past 4 months had now turned into a cold, heartless, robot who didn't have a moment to spare with me. My permanent set of dentures finally came in and she really just threw them in my mouth and pushed me out the door. I wasn't even offered a mirror to see the finished product! Now a year later, after living with ill-fitting dentures that aren't even correctly centered in my mouth, I have finally gone to another provider to have them fixed, only to learn that they can't be repaired because the hard liner can't be removed. So now I have to pay for a whole new set of dentures. Fortunately, the new provider is much less expensive and has assured me there will be no extra cost for a hard reline. read more
