In fact, I even had to go back to grab a couple items I saw that I couldn't come home without! ++ They have the BEST ceramics and pottery that I saw on my entire trip. I spoke with the owner about his merchandise and he was so kind! ++ There's ALL sorts of shirts, shot glasses, ceramics, sombreros, etc... You name it and they have it! ++ Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of product you get. Plus, if you have cash, you can negotiate a bit. I would highly recommend checking out Artesanias "Solymar" for your souvenir needs. If I find myself back in the area, I will def be back!

This is an extremely beautiful and cute boutique. I just want to point out that all the "jelly…read morefishes" are handmade. The fact that it's handmade is really important to me because this means there's only one of each! There will be no repeated patterns& designs. I also love the fact that the money will be going to the workers and owner of the store (whom are locals.) Because there's only one of each, and all equally beautiful, I literally stood there for 30-60 minutes looking for the right one. The lady that worked there was extremely sweet. She explained how it was handmade and what fruit it's made out of (I actually don't remember what it's called, but she said it's a hard Mexican fruit.) It was fairly easy to negotiate with her because she saw how hard it was to pick one. Also because we bought two, she gave my friend and I a total of $10USD discount. I would highly recommend buying one! I bought a ceiling hook just for this light and it's just too gorgeous.

I won't ding them for being something they are not! Hence 4 stars. It just didn't have what I needed. I bought a few packs of yarn given I was already there, but the packs were quite small. It would be very expensive to knit or crochet anything! They had basic colors, and no variegated yarns. I continue my search for an ideal yarn shop in Playa.
