As a result, I developed a severe eye infection that caused my entire eye to swell shut and turn black and blue. It was extremely painful, and I had to visit the emergency room and see the eye doctor twice. I got this infection right before Thanksgiving 2024, and as of January 8th, my eye still hasn't healed. I have to see an eye specialist at the beginning of February to check for any damage to my eye and to ensure that the infection hasn't spread to my brain. Renew Aesthetics claimed that this happens all the time, but my eye doctor said she had never seen anything as severe as my case! I was speaking with there insurance company to get this resolved but now I'm going to have to get my lawyer involvedbc I haven't heard from the insurance company after I had emailed a few times. My scheduled time was 3:30 and granted I was maybe 3 minutes late. I had filled out all paperwork online and did not remember at the time that back in December they told me to arrive 30 minutes early. Their reminder text I got yesterday said "see you at 3:30." Nothing about arriving 30 minutes early or they would 100% cancel my appointment and reschedule it. The office person said she would go ask if they would still see me and came back minutes later and said no. If this is how they treat their patients, I don't think I want to ever go there. Not very flexible or understanding. The office seemed nice and the people did seem nice. I just feel like better communication was needed in their text reminders for new patients. Now I will have to find another place and who knows how long their wait will be. So disappointed.

For a while, I thought it was just me but speaking with friends they have had the same experience. And looking at your store review it looks as though most of your clientele has experienced the same. However, I went in this past Thursday and was pleasantly surprised to come in contact with a young lady named Chas. She was helpful and engaging. She greeted us right when we walked in the door and took us around the entire store finding the three specific items that I had come for. At least you usually have the products I want! And I hope you keep Chas around for a long time
