To get here I had to drive across the terrible traffic of university Maryland College Park and they always doing road work. So many speed camera on this stretch of road. The building is clean and offer vending if needed. This location offers many classes such as BLS, ACLS, PALS. I did my ACLS online and came to class for the hands on training. My instructor Kyle Hasting is a knowledgeable & chill dude who work at the station. All in all a good place to get your certification.

In both cases, my instructor was Amer Tobing, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second before taking his course again when my certification expires. Although I've been CPR certified several times, Life Rescue offered more practical information than my previous certs. Amer's background as a firefighter and in emergency medical services shows, as he has a focused, no-nonsense attitude toward assessing an emergency situation and acting. He teaches us to think in a similar manner by addressing and hammering the most important things to know and remember. He also has a sense of humor, and is great at connecting with people, which makes his class more fun than I ever expected. But make no mistake: he takes his job and the subject matter very seriously, and doesn't let jokes overshadow or displace what is most important. I like how he spends a lot of time focusing on the reality of emergency situations vs. textbook scenarios, because there are some things that books won't tell you. Even though I had taken his class before, the second time around, he didn't let me off the hook if I could have performed something better. I really appreciated it, because it's sometimes the little things that can make a difference. Overall, it feels less like a class and more like practicing and discussing with a coach. I learned more each time, and further reinforced what I previously knew. I feel much more confident after having taken his course, would recommend it to anyone, and actually look forward to taking it again in the future.

There are many online CPR courses which I did take but were not valid when I submitted it to the state. I took the class with Francisco the owner which is prior military and firefighter. From day one it was really easy to get a hold of him and to arrange for the class. I got lucky that my class ended up being just me so I got to ask any questions I had and Francisco would gladly answer them. The whole experience was an easy and very insightful. Francisco does a great job teaching and cares about you learning.

They travel to quite a few locations to make it very convenient. Class size was small (there is a pandemic still), so Mr. Brenner could focus on each of us in turn. I've had to perform CPR before and I'll say that the training is very spot on and on par with real life scenarios. Mr. Brenner is very knowledgeable, highly experienced and a great teacher, helping me with answers to questions I had regarding my own past experiences (some of which didn't end so well due to lack of knowledge). Needless to say - take the class. If not to enrich yourself, then to save others you might encounter. Listen carefully and learn, you might need it to save a life one day and this course will give you information that will stick with you. God forbid, if you have to use the skills you learn here just once in your lifetime, this course will have been worth it.

I took my very first…read moreInfant/Child CPR and First Aid class with them a few years ago and it was so informational and very hands on and overall made me feel very comfortable and confident to administrate CPR or First Aid to an infant or adult. Then when my certification expired, I took my recertification with them as well. There is a lot of information to get through, and you are able to do the lessons online before the class, so you can come to the class to practice hands on and put to use what you learned online. Doug and Stacy show you the proper procedures and correct any improper way or the wrong form you may use, so that you then will know the difference and be able to do everything properly. They have plenty of equipment for the entire class and new and modern equipment, so that you can be the most prepared to learn.
