ROB MARTIN is the most stunningly incompetent person I have encountered outside of a Walmart.
Despite having had our paperwork for a full ten weeks, he is continually finding some new reason why he does not have it completed. It is always someone else's fault, whether the credit bureau or a real estate agent or even my own. We have now had to resubmit our paperwork three separate times, and are still not sure if the deal will even happen. He is utterly uninterested in taking responsibility for doing his job.
To wit, he routinely refused to respond to our phone calls and emails until I called him and read him the riot act regarding the appropriate way to deal with his customers. Now, after a series of phone calls from me, from my husband, from our real estate agent, and from the sellers' agent, to him, to his boss, and to the CEO of the company, he does in fact return our calls; however, he insists upon addressing me by my given name, despite the absolute impropriety of addressing a lady as such, especially one whom he has never even met in person.
DO NOT do business with this man. He will weasel out of every duty, defer the blame for his incapacity, and only do his job when threatened. read more
