This is probably the worst credit union I have ever had to deal with, period, and here's why:
Last year I gave their Tradeport location $200+ for my bill in October in cash, completing their slips and handing it to the teller. Apparently, that money never got deposited and the teller took my money. I will say I did lose the receipt, but when a form is filled out with cash it should've filed period, let alone they have cameras to check and never did. I did also have proof of payment in my bank account, didn't matter.
Anyways, after that they harassed my email and phone for 6 months until I finally had to go to their Central Office and fight with them in person to get it fixed, in which their response was to do nothing and give shrug and extremely rude attitudes.
That following day we spoke with one of the branch managers in which he offered to have me pay half of what they already stole. To get it over with and since he was actually willing and wanting to work with me, we agreed, and that was that.
Going into any of their facilities (With exception to I believe their Winter Garden facility, their tellers are more than helpful and very nice) is always unsettling and rude and they're never wanting to work with you. Very unprofessional.
You can also forget getting a check sent to them from your bank. I did it through Chase and they never deposited the check and that situation is another even in itself.
So, when it comes to actually paying your bill, here's your choices: Pay in person to the worst customer serviced credit union in Orlando, OR pay online and get a $10.00 service fee. And if you do pay in person, be prepared for a $10.00 charge if you use your card.
A few months ago, I had my father take a payment up to the Central office since I was working, and upon returning home he realized they rang up the payment with a missing $12, which was also given in cash, so at least now he knows I'm not crazy when I talk about this place and their cash payments.
Lastly, what inspired me to write this painful review, was the customer service I received yesterday over the phone when I tried making my first online payment. I was at work and I wanted to make a payment online, but due to their 2+ different online payment systems I picked the one I hoped was the best suited to their company, and it asked for a Loan Suffix. Mind you, I'm only 22, so I will say some terms don't just flow off the boat to me, so I gave them a call on their 3 different location phone numbers at 4:22 pm (All of which take you to the same automated message) and waited about 30 minutes till I finally sent them an email asking what's going on, for the BRANCH MANAGER to call me on the phone and literally fight with me because they close at 4:30 and the rest of their offices close at 5, which still doesn't make sense since regardless I called at 4:22, not to mention they called me from a completely different number. When I was finally able to ask her my question after she continued fighting with me for a good few moments, she rudely just kept saying the number short and quick to the point I had to have her stop, slow down, and actually pronounce her vocabulary. And, once again, that was the branch manager.
What started off as a simple car loan turned into one of the biggest nightmares of my life, if I could give Priority Credit Union 0 stars I would and I hope this review reaches out to anyone who is about to do business with this credit union. The amount of rude and unhelpful people in that union outweigh the good ones who actually do their job, and I feel bad for them. read more
