He also make good decisions in regards to our child and his care. He was so kind when he came to the hospital after delivery. He had read our chart and was giving us specific care based on it. He acknowledges my husband which is a big deal since most female drs do not when they are tending to our child. He had a style that makes you feel comfortable. The office makes it easy and I barely deal with them. I just pay my bill online and then when you have an appointment you call them and they tell you which room to go to. I cannot say enough about how much I recommend Dr. Lively and the other Drs.

Because of this, our KC pediatrics team strives to provide Kansas City families with superior, timely and affordable health care for children. Your caring pediatrician makes every effort to address concerns the day they arise. We are available in the office six days a week for ill visits and also offer evening hours four days a week. At our children's hospital, our pediatricians believe in treating each person with the same concern and respect that we show our own families, offering truly comprehensive health care.

Please, never go to Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Associates. You don't get the option of seeing am actual doctor. Then some xray technician does the cast application. My husband's coworker recommended this place and I called to set up a free prenatal visit to meet the newborn team and see if it would be a good fit. The moment I called to set up this appointment I knew we would be in good hands. The receptionist was so unbelievably sweet! Great first impression! We met with Mindy, the lactation consultant, and Janice Martin, MD. We left the visit knowing this would be the place! Fast forward and now our little girl is 2 months old and I am still singing praises for Pediatric Care Specialist. Mindy was such a vital support for my family during the tough few weeks of attempting to breast feed. She even gave me her home phone number over the Christmas holiday-- who does that? So thankful for her help! We ended up switching to see one of their nurse practitioners, Megan McGown, because she saw us during our first visit and we fell in love! She is so encouraging, gentle, and patient! She answers all our questions-- and we have a lot as new parents! Such a relief to find a place that we feel confident taking our little one to for the next 18 years!

We've been going here for 10+ years now. We've seen many of the doctors here (it's an all female…read morepractice) but our main doctor is Kathryn Hauptmann, MD. We love her! My kids have literally grown up seeing her for checkups and emergency visits. The lobby and waiting areas are divided into "well child" and "sick child" areas. This is nice when you are here for a checkup or other exam. The nurses are nice too. I've had issues with front desk staff before, but only one person. One lady is particularly rude on the phone and can be a real turnoff. Other than her, the rest of the staff is professional and friendly. If you are in this area, I would fully recommend this practice.

Instead of responding professionally, I was blocked. This is the same office that closely followed CDC guidelines during COVID--masking young children, supporting school closures, and encouraging vaccinations for kids. Whether you agree with those policies or not, they had a major impact on children and families. Now, when parents raise thoughtful questions about rising autism diagnoses or unexplained health concerns in kids and teens, there seems to be little willingness to engage in open, honest dialogue. Parents deserve providers who listen, communicate, and respect diverse concerns--not ones who shut down the conversation entirely. If your pediatrician can't engage respectfully with longtime families, it may be time to find one who will.

Megan always starts the visit with "what questions or concerns do you have?" rather than "do you have any questions?". It's a small difference but it has always made me feel welcome and heard because they listen to and address all my questions, no matter how many I have. I am often alone with 2 little kids and Megan will always jump in to help entertain my toddler. Stacy always takes time to address all of my questions and concerns. I never feel rushed during our appointments and she always has great suggestions if there are things we are struggling with. Stacy and Megan are always excited to see my kids. I truly feel like my kids are loved and cared for so well by them. Even Angie at the front desk is excited when we come in. She has always been great to work with over the phone and can always get us in quickly when needed. Cannot recommend this place enough!

My lack of planning does not constitute an emergency for anyone else, and I didn't expect them to drop everything to bail me out... however, I thought, let me just ask to see what they might be able to do... So, I called the office to ask for their help in sending me records, and despite my apalling lack of notice, they accommodated me and helped me by emailing me records! Say what?!?!?! Of course, I had to comply with written authorizations, which is absolutely the right way to go... Ms. Traci was my LIFESAVER today! Seriously, talk about taking good care of their patients! And technically, since we moved out of state, we are no longer patients... and they still went above and beyond! Truly, this place is full of caring, kind and amazing individuals. Dr. Meyers and Dr. Dam have been truly awesome throughout the years, very thorough, patient and detailed, and we miss them very very much. The front staff, Chris and Traci, have always helped us professionally and today, she rescued me. We highly recommend bringing your children here; they are beyond amazing.

At another point he said that no vaccine would ever hurt my child. As someone who was vaccine injured and deals with the repercussions of that injury every day, this was very jarring to hear. He has not once provided informed consent to us the entire time we have been at this practice since my son was born. It is not ethical to say that vaccines pose no risk and no doctor can honestly promise that nothing is going to happen because that is not in their control. The lying an intense pushback against parents who are simply looking to do what is best for their children makes me reconsider all vaccines. We are a family that accepts 95% of the recommended vaccines and now I will be digging deeper into all of their inserts and making decisions about what is best for my family because that is my job. My job is not to line the pockets of greedy doctors at the possible expense of my children's health and safety.
