Service is friendly and they also accept credit cards. Wish they were open a bit later as I think the place would be great to check out towards the evenings too. The turkey curry dish is my go-to, though I think the dish relies too heavily on rice to be complete. Really would like to have more turkey and salad/veggies than rice. More protein and veggies please ;) The chili is super delicious and I highly recommend it.

Cons: drinks are overpriced (as it is quite typical in that area) and the desserts are quite disappointing. Bottom line: if you're around, pay a visit

VERY UNPLEASANT BARKEEPER (Dereza)…read more I was regularly on Mondays for a tandem meetup in this café, which has been widely known throughout Berlin for several years. Normally it is no problem to order nothing, and also at our table not many drinks had ordered. Nevertheless, I was asked to leave within half an hour, just because I would charge my laptop and order nothing. I have seen how other guests were treated the same way. I found that very selective, disrespectful and unprofessional. Out of nowhere, the angry barkeeper Dereza with extremely reddish eyes told me to "Get off my café!", both in German and in Turkish. Such treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable.

In a word - perfect for my bar and/or cafe needs. No…read moresmoking, good music, nice people. Longer version (for the brave) - some of my friends gathered here on one Friday to celebrate a bday, and as I walked in something felt strange - the lack of cigarette smoke. I thought I was dreaming, these places are rare gems in Berlin. Besides - the place is technically a coffee place that converts into a bar at night, so there are bigger tables for groups and smaller for couples or smaller gatherings. The selection of beer is not big but enough for your casual drinking needs, there is also wine and some cocktails offered alongside with the regular coffee and other hot and cold beverages. During the weekends it's open until three or so, but as we came again during a weekday the lady was making sure we leave asap. For those of you who like ping pong there a cosy place for playing it one on one or traditional Chinese-bar-style. Anyhow, it's one of my new favorite spots for having a random beer, and there will be many visits to come.

Wow wow and WOW! This Café in beautiful Zehlendorf is an absolute insider. It's 1,5 km from my home…read moreand I can't believe I haven't discovered it up to this day. When I first came in I was absolutely stunned by the nice and cozy flair. When I spotted the display of the deliciously looking cakes I immediately started taking pictures. The lady working at the Café seemed a bit confused, rather distanced at first (because of that reserved attitude and her lovely southern accent I was guessing she must be from Baden-Württemberg), almost worried that something was/is wrong. Quite the contrary, I was in love with this place from the first moment on! So I sat down on a very cute little table right next to the window and ordered one of the 2 soups of the day-I took the red lentils with coconut although the red beet soup with orange and ginger sounded just as good! It didn't take very long and the soup was ready to be eaten... well no... I had to take pictures first, of course! Not only the lovely presentation on a wooden board but also the fact that it was served with bread (super fresh and delicious) & butter decorated with parsley screamed for being photographed! And now the taste-very good, even a bit spicy which I love, simply delicious! Besides that I was very much enjoying the atmosphere-the white furniture, the beautiful pictures on the walls, the book shelves and magazines, fresh flowers on each table and not to forget ALL these treats behind the counter! Although the Café was well attended from when I got there, more and more people came and I noticed that a lot of them must be regular guests as the waitress (I'm assuming she's the owner of Milch&Honig, too) was talking to many in a very familiar way, she even knew their preferences offering either special cakes or varieties of lactose, gluten free, vegan. Very impressive! So as I sat there watching and observing, I couldn't get my eyes off the yummy looking cakes and each time I realized a new one that had just been brought out of the kitchen. What a tough decision but I finally decided on the cheesecake and OMG let me tell you-it was fantastic-so creamy, so tender, so fluffy, sooooooo good-I especially loved that it wasn't too sweet! It even had a bit of a lemon taste as well-hence I'm in love even more and know I'll be back here very very soon! Thank you so much for such amazing delights! BTW-the lady is from Baden ;-)

Food: - Chai Latte--€3.00 I couldn't find a hot chai latte on their menu so I asked at the counter, and they kindly told me that they did have a hot chai latte. I asked to order one and they asked me if I preferred it spicy or sweet so I asked for spicier. The chai latte came out hot, frothy, milky, and creamy as I love all my chai lattes to be, and it wasn't too spicy but not too sweet which was great. ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS PLACE!!…read more First: I'm a girl and I love girly places with pastel colours, cute decorations on the walls, laces and all that stuff okay? And this little place of wonders has it all. The café is small and super cozy. The interior is a mix of grandma's furniture (super comfortable sofas and couches) and a girly dream in pastel. Did I mention that I love this place? The menu is nice as well. You have bagels, cakes and salad with meat, without or vegan (extra points). The cakes seemed to be self made and looked so so good. I had a vegan bagel and my friend had a "Russischer Zupfkuchen" (Germans and their names for cakes....). We also ordered some tea and everything was great. The waiter were so nice and sweet and I fell in love with this café. In fact I will move in. Bye.
