Yesterday 14/10 11.30@nassau street, i was in the shop, a young guy attended me, i asked him, i need to print 100 business cards, 25euro, simple card as shown in ur website. He said u have to design urself and then bring the file. (i was wondering wat file) conversation continued , he then explained their design which is 20 euro exra bla bla. i said , i just need a simple ones, with no design on it. Plain business card, Again he was explaining , we have bla bla design and u need to bring the file. ( i was wondering wat file is he talking). We were not even 5 mins into conversation, this obnoxious baldman jumps into the conversation pre-judging me and was so rude and sternly said something, which i felt was very rude, a bad tone, bad customer service . He just got rid of me " I ask IAN GOVERN", Is it a new customer service of not solving things and trying to shoo away customers depending on race ?. i was just trying to understand what the young guy was saying.
I went next door to Reads, I said the same thing 100 business cards, simple one. she very politely explained to me "Sir, if you have a PDF COPY , u can take the print". AND READS clearly " explained and guided me to one of the PCs and explained me wat i should do, and got my Work done easily, quickly and reasonably.
Solution for printsave :
The Guys need to understand that customers dont work in Printsave, Both the guys need to be trained when you say FILE, its the PDF FILE. (Do not live to the new customer to think wat file, there are many types of file .JPG, .IMG, .TXT, ,etc etc.)
The Bald guy needs to understand, Instead of Pre-judging about a customer irrespective of race, class etc. Understand the need of the customer, If there is a queue of 2 people then Let the other team member handle it, If the explanation was clear and concise , there was no need for him to be obnoxious because i would have paid the money. read more
