You're thinking.. How is that possible? Try it. She has all the fixins of that home town feel right in the heart of Des Moines. She has seen my financial and life situation change over the years from college and part-time jobs to full time jobs, to marriage and divorce, to buying a house and soon enough a child. The physical growth of this business over the years is a testament to the clientele she is getting and maintaining. The last two years I paid in for missteps I was making, and Carla troubleshooted me through it and I got it figured out. Funny enough, I discovered one of my best friends, who is a self employed, also gets her taxes done by Carla.

We use him for our personal cars and my business. The things that he is willing to do: Call my background check company and stipulate what is and isn't okay on a background check in order to drive my vehicles and enter customer homes; send out proof of insurance emails to commercial clients; and generally keep an eye on things that could cause me risk. He is in his office working and available for questions. Not all agents are! My favorite thing about Doug is that he is passionate about putting me on the path to less risk. Thanks Doug!

Last week i called ahead to Affinity CU where I have had an account for years to see if there would…read morebe any problems depositing large checks, they said no it would just have to be approved by management. I went directly there and tried to deposit 2 large checks in my account that I have had for years and they denied them saying they would bounce?? I said I was told a manager could approve them. Wasn't offered a manager. Their loss, went to GreenState CU opened a checking, saving and money market accounts there without ever being a customer before. Asked them why they were able to cash the checks and Affinity wouldn't. They said they had no idea because they were both certified checks so they couldn't bounce. GreenState made it very easy and now they get to hold on to my money. Thinking about getting a CD there too.
