I'm pretty biased when it comes to Hookah lounges since this was the main activity my friends and I did before we turned 21. We would be out until 2 or 3 am just hanging out at these types of places. Prince is by far my favorite one in Louisville. It's walking distance from UofL so it draws a younger crowd. The staff here is always so nice and don't make you feel rushed when you and your party is hanging out for hours. Last time I was here, the owner was the one that took care of everyone and he was the friendliest owner I've probably met. The hookah itself is good and it's not that expensive. A hookah with a single hose cost 11 dollars but when you're there for a long time, it's worth the money. read more

They don't serve food or alcohol, which in my opinion isn't bad. It's a great place to relax by yourself unbothered or bring a group of friends in for a fun experience. I've been coming for 5 years, I've worked here, and my favorite person is Danielle! She makes the best hookahs they always last and smoke beautifully. This is my go-to Hookah bar in Louisville. Their hookahs last so much longer than the ones at Friend's and Masaj, so it never seems like we have to constantly get new coal for it. The staff are always very friendly, one girl was awesome at helping me and a friend with choosing a bong, and seemed very knowledgable about the ones they sold. The food is really good! I was a little sketchy at first since their kitchen area is right by where everyone smokes, but I ordered their chicken tenders and it was very fresh. They always play good music, and play it loud later it the night, which is how I like it. They have comfortable seating, even with a patio outside. It's also nearly walking distance from campus and is a great place to go to if you're just looking to chill. read more

Is this place the opposite of classy? Hmm, kinda. Did I have the best meal ever here? Definitely not. Can you get drunk here? Not a chance. BUT! If you're looking for some bomb huka flavors, delicious Turkish coffee, and a chill atmosphere then you should definitely give this place a try. Use to love going here now employees treat good returning customers like trash. They've stopped paying attention to their regulars, people who have helped build this place. They recently got new management and ever since then the environment has completely changed. Currently at prince right now and have not been checked on in an hour. Never wanna come back but it's hard to leave a place where memories/friendships have been built. read more

I love trying new things. It was my first time trying hookah. Residing in Old Louisville, this quiet and diverse building has definitely seen better days. But it adds character. Me and my friends chose the flavor Pink Lemonade. We did some smoke tricks and talked amongst ourselves while laughing at Family Guy on a quiet television screen. I never realized that a Hookah could last so long. We were there for a good 2 1/2 hours. You get your money's worth. With our hookah shared among 4 people was around $20 plus tax. So we split the check between us, about $5 each. It's very dark in here. It seems to get brighter as it gets darker. Blacklight turns on, glass case counters turn on revealing glass pipes and hookah pipes for sale. Along with vaping accessories and hookah and tobacco accessories behind the counter. Hookah is a unique social experience. I don't recommend it for everyone. However if you do decide to go to any hookah place, be sure to drink some water. This is a great place to come and hang out with friends. No it's not like Casablanca or Barasti but it's not supposed to be. If you come in and are rude then yes, the workers may be less likely to be as kind to you but I love this place because of that. The women's bathroom is kinda dirty because well women are gross but that just happens. 10% off with student discount though is always nice! The people who work here treat all their customers like family and try to remember everyone's name which is impressive because of how many people come in! Try their food though! The gyros and falafels are just like the ones I had when I lived in Israel! I stay away on the weekends because it gets seriously loud and you can't even talk to the person next to you but I blame that on the obnoxious college students who don't understand you shouldn't be drinking underage and going out in public. read more

When I lived in Louisville I thought this place was the shit, then I moved to Indianapolis and dated a guy from India and realized what hookah is suppose to be, and this is not it. Doesn't give you the head high like it's suppose to and made me feel sick, which i thought meant I was allergic to it but it's because the ingredients aren't up to what it's suppose to be like. The service is good but it's not the best hookah ever. I'll be trying out other hookah bars down here in Louisville while I'm visiting family, so keep a look out. However, if you're under 18, they don't care so you'll be able to get in as long as you don't look 12. read more

My friend group and I have had some very odd experiences here. They'll be great one day but awful the next. The owner is very understandable and professional and my favorite one that works here is Katy, she is very sweet and overall good. The hookah isn't too bad. Prince Hookah is by far the best hookah lounge in the Louisville area. The employees are really friendly, the lounge and restrooms are clean, there is enough seating inside as well as outdoor seating, the hookah is on point, there is no limit on coals, the food is delicious, and they sell everything you need for your hookah at home. Prince Hookah has a live DJ every Friday night as well as open mic night every couple Wednesday nights. Tuesday is free refill hookah night so if you want to try another flavor, you can, for free. They keep information up to date on their Facebook page, including events and hours. They also offer student discounts (10% off with a school ID). They have multiple flavors to select from as well as different ways to smoke the hookah. I have been coming here since it opened and I must say it's the best hookah lounge in Louisville! read more

This is the best hookah bar in Louisville that I've been to. Chill setting. Good music. The weekends get crazy & are really fun if you like a party scene. Hookahs are typically very well made - good flavor & thick smoke (the 2 most important factors in my mind) and the CHEAPEST single hose price in Louisville (I've been to about 5 other hookah bars and their prices are all 2-5 dollars higher). The location is good - right by U of L campus. The staff is friendly. Never had their food but I've heard good things about it. They also have discounts for students who show their student ID card. Just got back, the place changed a lot since July 2014. They had to start our hookah twice because it was blowing less and less smoke. Then couldnt get any kind of discount for it plus they should at least have military discount on top of student. The premium sheesha is $8 more than basic and doesnt taste much different (basically over priced) we got Incredible Hulk. Trying Cafe 360 next time. read more
