Bruce Tanhoff is knowledgeable, kind, available and, above all, honest. I've worked with many…read morerealtors before, and I often felt like I was being "sold" on properties I didn't want so the realtor could make a quick commission. If I pointed out flaws or needed repairs, I'd hear, "Oh, that's just cosmetic," or, "Live with it for a while and switch it out when you can afford it." But the thing is, when those items start to add up, it can cost tens of thousands of dollars, and that's what made shopping for a home with Bruce such a comfort. He pointed out repairs and issues before I even saw them. He listed the positives AND negatives to ensure I knew exactly what I'd be getting into. If he thought a placed needed updates and repairs but thought the neighborhood was worth the investment, he'd say that. And when he thought the opposite was true and a home wasn't worth the asking price, he never made me feel like I'd wasted an hour of his time touring it. To the contrary, he finds value in showing clients an array of houses to help narrow down exactly what kind of home will make them happy. And that's exactly what happened. I found the perfect home, and it only took a few weeks. A real bonus is Bruce's extensive knowledge of the "nuts and bolts" that the average person might not know - the life span of a furnace, the average cost of flooring, why that weird electric box is hanging in the crawl space. Also, his agency is offering the Home for Heroes program, which gives cash back to home buyers at closing who are firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, Military and veterans, healthcare and teachers. The funds come out of his commission, and he's happy to offer it. If I buy or sell again, he's the only person I'll call.

This man is a lousy good for nothing landlord who will only take advantage of you and your money. I rented a mobile home from him for 3 years and he would never fix anything. We called him on multiple ocassions to fix water leaks and they never got fixed. Also in the winter our pipes froze every other day and this so call landlord or as i like to call him a slumlord would not come for days to fix the problem. After all this he asked us to move out because he was selling the place. He then asked us to move out half a month early and so we did. When we went back up to the mobile home to finish getting our stuff and clean the place he had already torn down the steps so there was no way for us to get into the place to move the rest of our stuff or clean the mobile home. Guess what this slumlord took the remainder of our stuff and dumped it on my mother in laws lawn (i mean i got my stuff but really) maybe he should have gave me more time to get my stuff out. Then he filed for a garnishment against me for 1800 dollars money i did not owe him for any reason as he sold the mobile home we lived in. This guy is a peace of work thats for sure.

If you ever get the opportunity to buy a home and this lady is the listing agent. She is the worst…read moresellers agent to work with I have ever experienced as a buyer. she is condescending, obtuse, zero empathy, completely disrespectful, and a pompous ass. She hammered us with questions from her sellers but literally answered our questions one time, after that she told our realtor we are annoying and was no longer accepting questions! Follow that up the day before closing her sellers left all sorts of junk in the house and we asked it to be removed and she threw a hissy fit and had her MIL also call and chew out our realtor. Then she had the balls, THE SAME NIGHT, to ask our realtor what we would offer her sellers if they were to leave an adjustable bed and head board in the house, we made a reasonable offer and then she literally tried to negotiate the price, MIND YOU, this was after we had been asked about this damn bed frame and headboard at least 5 times over the last 3 weeks.... Unbelievable. Now we just met a couple who also had to buy a house from her, they asked her a question for her sellers, she wouldn't answer - later in years she somehow ran into them and was talking about doing realty work and mentioned how this one time she had buyers that asked this stupid question and was talking how stupid it was, that question - was the people she was talking to had asked her way back. She's a horrible person. Don't use her to sell, she will alienate buyers, and don't buy from her, she's garbage.

There were many conversations that made it clear by the end of the project we wanted a fully completed barn. The steel for the roof finally arrived and they ordered the wrong color. Instead of making them send it back, we agreed to use that for siding. They never told us the trim around overhead doors, soffit and fascia should have been completed prior to siding. A quote for overhead door trim, soffit and fascia was not discussed or received at that time, we were never informed of the proper sequence. As homeowners and not contractors, we did not know the proper sequence and should have been told BEFORE the siding went up. We did not know until a family member stopped out and said something. The crew didn't speak English or pretended not to speak English when we tried to ask questions. My husband then immediately contacted the owner directly and asked him to come out and look at it and talk. I witnessed my husband telling Aaron face to face he was unhappy with how the work was done and he is denying any knowledge of there being issues. I later sent an official complaint in writing (which included a request for them to work with us on a resolution) via certified mail with confirmed delivery and they didn't bother to respond. The incorrect sequence of how the work was completed led to an extra thousands of dollars to get it completed by someone else. The owner Aaron is a crooked liar and will deny entire conversations with you. He was told there were issues on the phone, in person, and in writing. He gave his word to make it right but never followed through. Don't do business with this company- they only want your money and don't care about doing right by their customers.
