There is also a very cute (but a bit pricey...) cafe downstairs (the cafe makes up for it by being environmentally friendly and for having gluten free/vegetarian options). The grilled cheese here is one of the best I have had outside of the US. I wasn't expecting it, so it came as wonderful surprise! I ordered a cheese sandwich that I had seen on the display, prepackaged, and when they asked me if I wanted it heated, I said yes. The result was this marvelous grilled sandwich which was simply divine! You have to pay a Euro in coin to use the bathrooms at this establishment! Just an FYI, NOT a complaint! Anything to support a wonderful place like this!

Sure a lot of bookstores sell mags too but this place was wall-to-wall in magazines and you would be amazed at what kinds. Honestly, pick a subject and you have an excellent chance of finding a mag on the topic. Personally, I love art and literature and there were many in the back part of the store. The great thing is that there are also mags in English. I don't mean just a few stuck in a corner somewhere but a large part of the stock has English ones. On the artsy side, I picked up one on graffiti art and flicked through some literary review ones. I honestly could have spent the whole day in there and spent a lot of money on several purchases. That's the main problem though; they're not cheap! Sure you can get some in the 5 Euro area but the big glossy art type mags can run a lot more than that. Just bring your credit card with you!
