As first time home buyers and members of the military, we were very nervous about our first home…read morebuying experience. Greg was extremely flexible with a difficult schedule, and took the time to show us a number of different neighborhoods that could work for us. He was always very honest about both the current and future value of each house we looked at. He even showed us some houses that didn't work so we could figure out what we truly wanted in a house. Whether via phone, email, or in person, he was easy to get in touch with any time of the week. When we finally found a house we loved, he helped us get a great deal, and walked us through every step up through closing. He made a complicated process relatively simple for us, and we highly recommend him to anybody in the Manhattan area. If you are a soldier and need a house, go see Greg!

For both of these transactions I was 1500 miles away in California. I placed my trust in Greg and never regretted it. Greg is very professional and knowledgable. He made both transactions go very smoothly. He kindly took care of more details for me than perhaps would have been necessary for a local client. I appreciated his honesty and integrity in guiding me through the process. I recommend Greg to anyone who is purchasing or selling a home with the highest level of enthusiasm.

We dealt with both sides of the Landmark company the estate agents and their homes they build. I…read morewill list my issues about each area. We have numerous other complaints about this company but I will keep it simple. Also, I can verify what the other reviewer said about their Landmark home. Also many others I know had huge problems with their landmark home. Home: The house was shoddily built and many corners were cut despite it being an attractive home. Landmark buried a sewer drain in our yard before we bought it and the city found the hole and uncovers the drain. Landmark built an fence 10 ft onto our property for a home they were building next door. In the process of disputing this the owner of Landmark construction snapped our survey stake off and moved it, while we watched. The city had to intervene and they moved he fence back 10 ft. They storm gutter pipe ran under our front side walk but did not have a drain which we discovered too late. It caused our driveway and corner of the garage to sink due to the dirt that washed out. The real estate agent was incompetent and caused us to lose a few thousand dollars on a home we had a contingency on by him not understanding the contract. The agent ingratiated themselves to our family but later spoke ill of us to common neighbors. Beware if this company they will get you coming and going. I suspect nobody who owns one of their homes in Manhattan would complain about this company as they would be ruining their ability to sell their home.

Our Landmark home has had plumbing issues ever since we bought it. Landmark homes claims they…read more"fixed" the problem over the course of several months, yet didn't actually fix the problem. The plumber they called out specifically said that he remembered my home because he couldn't figure out what was wrong and why we would have a giant flood. He checked to see if we were lying by making sure that our washer hadn't flooded and had verified that it was NOT our washer creating the problem. He also did so again the second time he came out. (Also note that Landmark Homes did NOT complete the repairs in a timely manner, which I was very, very amiable on... but after a while, it got excessive). The plumber they used never figured out why we had a massive flood nor a continuous slow leak, and Landmark never got a second opinion. Now, we have warped walls and molding from a slow leak. Additionally, there is molding that is yellow and warped because the repair technician who was set to fix our moulding the first time bought the moulding but didn't fix it - so we have brand new moulding in the garage that was never installed. Landmark is claiming that because they did work on the issue during the first year (which is under warranty), even though they didn't fix it, they are no longer liable to repair it. THEY NEVER REPAIRED THE ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY NEVER EVEN COMPLETED THE WORK WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR. Ny neighbors all have separate issues including a leak in a similar place that was not fixed properly, issues with driveways cracking and the cement pitting, and leaks within windows that are supposed to be sealed. I've heard multiple complaints about the quality of Landmark Homes. At this point the only recourse I have is to have the work done and go to court. I have contacted the owner of Landmark homes in addition to others who are in charge (mainly Jerry Istas handles most of this) and was told that nothing would be done. I would NOT recommend buying a Landmark Home. As for the realtors, I did not use Landmark Real Estate and cannot give any feedback on their services.
