The facility is spotless and staff friendly and helpful. They were on time and attentive from the moment we stepped inside. I got texts and calls regularly from the moment I dropped her off, until I picked her up. Everything was smooth including patient pickup which happens around back of the building. They marked me as a no show and never called the script in. 10 days later, no script, I'm in a pain flair and some guy who doesn't know what he's doing accuses me of lying when he was the one lying and I caught him in a lie. The starling pcp was horrible with my special needs daughter. I don't know where these people come from. But my impression is quite low.

The staff is very courteous and professional - I haven't had any major issues with billing, insurance coverage, setting up convenient appointment, etc. I've seen the same friendly faces throughout the past years; that goes to show you how they all get along so well and turnover is very low at that location - They all seem to really love what they do.

The EMT girl on the way hit my arm and left a bruise, when I told her I was nauseous she ripped open an alcohol swab and stuck it in my face, acting like I was a know-it-all saying, "Oh I thought you knew this" she then said she was gonna "sit This was an absolute nightmare, my mrn number was 1835555, and when I was admitted I was in crisis. A police officer from the floor underneath the room they locked me in due to covid said he wanted to "Shoot me in the head 5 times" and all the staff heard. The staff then assured me he "got a call" Quality of care was very neglectful, save for one male nurse. The type of care: They Straight up told me they were doing a "rapid taper detox" Off my benzos I had been taking for 5 years. When I told them I know tapering too fast off benzos can cause brain damage and that I knew depression was mostly situational they didn't care. This was April 5th of 2024, There were a few good nurses but they were mainly a male nurse and Julia, everyone from the front desk workers to nurses act like nothing is their job. There needs to be 1000% more accountability in these work settings, other countries aren't like this. We finally got to the floor we needed to be on and the front desk lady remembered my son from when he use to go to nutrition on 100 retreat. I can't believe we've crossed paths again after 3-4 years. She saw my son when he was a baby-1 years old and now he's 5 years old!! The nurses and the doctors for sedation were a 10/10 and explained everything to us and took their time. They also have life support who came. To help navigate the process and helped suggested some ideas of what might calm him down. They were able to get the job done professionally in a. Timely matter. I wasnt able to sleep because of the overdose making me halluclinate and on the first night, a male staff completely ignored me no matter how much i complained about how i was seeing shit. I also went to this hospital because i was bleeding out my butthole (ikik its hemroids, the urgent care didnt do shit and told me to go there) and they made me wait SEVEN HOURS WITH AN IV IN just to tell me to take laxitives no matter if i still was bleeding (and i do have a family history of crones) and the staff barely visited my room no matter how much i hurt. I wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely HORRID experience. This is the location of my former…read morePCP. I saw her many years ago when I selected her as my PCP and I liked her. I still like her and find her to be compassionate during our in-person appointments, however the complete and total incompetence of this office makes it impossible to move forward with Hartford Healthcare Medical Group for me personally and I will be switching PCP's as a result. The first red flag was many years ago, after I first met my PCP and was prescribed an anti-anxiety medication. I was traveling out of state when it ran out and at that time I had apparently gone through all my refills, so when I contacted them to let them know I was out, they said they could not issue any more refills without me coming in person to the office. I was 3,000 miles away so this was not possible, and I was essentially forced to quit the medication cold turkey, rather than safely wean off. This was dangerous and an unpleasant experience, however I took responsibility for my role in that I should have been better prepared/made sure I would be able to refill my prescriptions while I was traveling. I decided to keep my PCP and give another chance. I regret this deeply. Last month, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for almost a week. Upon discharge, I followed-up with my PCP. Again, she was kind and compassionate in person and I liked her very much. The office, however, dropped the ball in such a way that is completely unforgivable and the only silver lining is that I will NEVER deal with them again. At my follow-up appointment with my PCP, I reviewed my labs from the hospital with her and I was given a referral to a specialist. I learned the following day that the specialist was not covered by my insurance. I contacted the PCP office for a new referral to someone I have coverage with. It has been utter hell ever since - the specialist informed the PCP office they needed my labs and after WEEKS of calling nearly daily, the PCP office still has not sent my labs to the specialist. Today, the PCP's medical assistant, Denise, called to inform me I'd have to call the hospital and have THEM send my labs to the specialist. Why wasn't I told this WEEKS ago? Why did they tell me nearly daily that they would send them, only to not? Why was my PCP able to go over the hospital labs with me during my follow-up appointment, but is unable to send them to the specialist for me with the referral? Hartford Healthcare has left me in a position unable to get care, and I will be reporting this matter as well as never doing "business" with Hartford Healthcare ever again. This is health negligence and I cannot fathom them treating older patients this way who may not have the stamina or wherewithal to spend hours a day on the phone for weeks, as I have endured. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your medical care! Trust me, if you ever find yourself unexpectedly hospitalized as I did, this is NOT who you want your critical health care follow ups to be through!! It's downright dangerous for your health (not to mention the toll on mental health). Patients beware!
