I am beyond please with the origination, process, and outcome. This team is phenomenal, to say the least. They move quickly and confidently. While their promises are rather ambitious, they actually deliver on said promises. I'll be honest, at the start I was a bit skeptical. Ali had promised a much earlier closing date than any other competitor (and believe I sought many lenders). He promised this despite it being during Christmas week and with myself being on travel for a large part of the time. I did not have full access to my accounts and documents as I normally would. Yet even with these obstacles and circumstances, this team not only delivered on the closing date, but they actually were able to close on the loan even earlier than their estimate. At the end of the day, you cannot argue with outcome and the outcome exceeded my expectations. Again, I am beyond please and cannot recommended them enough. My agent referred Ali to me and offered very high praises. I had a double app going, but ultimately felt so confident in this team that I quickly dumped the other lender. I would highly recommend that everyone do their due diligence in seeking which lender to use. Not every team will be compatible with you and your goals. For me, this team is the one! The best! I am a 100% disabled veteran, and this was my first home loan. Unfortunately, this experience turned what should have been an exciting milestone into an extremely stressful and frustrating ordeal. Both the real estate agent and the lender, Jale Goztepe, told me that CrossCountry Mortgage could get me a better rate and that they would approve me through a manual underwrite. Based on those assurances, I agreed to move forward -- which turned out to be a mistake. If you want to waste your time being questioned about every little detail of your life, while receiving little to no communication from your lender, then this is the company for you. Buying a house is already stressful, but this company somehow made the process a million times worse. During the process, items were questioned or attributed to my credit that did not belong to me, creating unnecessary confusion and delays. I was repeatedly given a little hope, only to have it taken away, instead of receiving honest and consistent communication. The attitude from employees was also unacceptable. They came across as high and mighty, attempted to belittle me, and spoke negatively about other lenders, including the company that had already issued me a valid approval letter. At one point, I was effectively called a liar, along with the lender who had already approved my loan. To be clear, I already had a 100% conditional approval on my home loan, so being told that no one would finance my home was simply not true. If you are a veteran or active-duty military member looking for a VA home loan, I strongly recommend that you do not waste your time with CrossCountry Mortgage. I ultimately had a far better, more professional, and respectful experience with Mortgage Solutions Financial, and I wish I had gone there from the start.

LOANCARE is not a reputable company in my opinion. They did not send a commitment letter to my county treasurers office and as a result I got a notice my tax payment was delinquent. LOANCAREs response was to insist I had to fax my tax bill to them, OK done. Then they refused to confirm they got the fax until I insisted a manager return my call. They still cannot tell me the status because the "tax department does not speak to customers, they do not speak to us (their own customer service) and we do not even have a phone number for them". Only after 2 calls and insisting did someone call me back and at least confirm they received my fax of the tax document. Yes this review is about Cunningham & Company, a good mortgage company does not hand over management of your loan to another company that provides terrible customer service and is at best incompetent, at worst possibly fraudulent. FWIW I have near perfect credit so it's not like there was any issue with selling my mortgage.
