That was her opening interaction with us. My daughter froze, then burst into tears as we left. She knew exactly what was meant, and the emotional harm was immediate and deep. A child should never have to feel targeted, unsafe, or singled out because of the color of her skin. The associate's attempt to act innocent as we walked out only made it more clear she knew what she had done. Racial profiling a child is not just inappropriate -- it is cruel. This behavior is disgusting, harmful, and completely unacceptable. No child should ever be made to feel targeted or unsafe because of the color of their skin. Management needs to address this immediately. No business should allow this.
