After years of not having a family doctor and utilizing walk-in clinics because most practices…read morewhere I've lived weren't accepting new patients, I feel so incredibly fortunate that a colleague suggested that I apply to the Queen Street Family Health Team. (Pretty disheartening how difficult getting a doctor in Ontario is but that's a-whole-nother bag-o-worms.) It's a bit farther from home than I'd have liked but it's so worth the drive. The whole place runs like a well oiled machine and I could not have been more blessed with a primary doctor. Dr. Lum is patient and through. She's approachable and accessible. The nurse is also super efficient and easy to book appointments with. And the fact that there is a lab in-house makes getting blood work so convenient. The full practice/team is great and I can't think of a single complaint. (Ok, yes I can... I hate paying to park to visit the doctor but I think that's the city - again, another bag of worms...) If you are looking for a family doctor and if this practice is accepting applications, I highly recommend it.

It might be a good idea to provide "refresher" training on interpersonal skills and customer service to their administrative team. However it took another 20 mins for a doctor to see me. I believe he was Dr. Anton. He was courteous and professional. The walk-in clinic is located within the Medical Centre. There are 6 doctor private practices and a Pharmasave pharmacy also. There is no free WiFi. There is one gender-neutral washroom that is accessible also.

I was in here to take an elderly family member to Emergency last week. The triage nurse was very…read morefriendly and we took a seat in the waiting room. There was a TV monitor that said how many people were being treated and how many were waiting, along with the waiting time to see a doctor. It told us 90 minutes but we didn't see a doctor until about 3.5 hours! Once we did see the doctor, things moved relatively quickly with an X-ray being performed. The triage nurse made sure we were good to go by telling us everything we needed to know about the medication, hats off to her!

No blood work done! She was told to take Imodium and BRAT diet...doc did NOT know what the A stood for...duh...applesauce!! She left without any proper care...what a waste of time Had to explain why leaving and then they brought out nurse for bloodwork told needed to wait another hour for results!! Too sick to wait more than 7 hours!! A sign says Scent Free but no one enforced it and the smell of perfume was sickening Horrible horrid ER!!!

While getting my bloodwork done they engage me in conversation which helps me A LOT, to take my mind off of the situation. Sometimes the wait is longer than expected but the service I receive makes up for it. I haven't fainted once since going to this lab!! THANK-YOU!!!

( Sorry doc I went there instead of making an appointment with you ) for convenience. I thought I will get a requisition for lab works from the walk in clinic and then I can proceed to the laboratory right away. First time I saw Dr. Simon Mcbride . He was very rude . He didn't even check my heartbeat / pulse when one of my complains was palpitations. I was telling him with what I read about my symptoms and he said why did I come and see him , if I believe or know what I read . All the the time he was talking to me he was facing to the counter while writing. He completely forgotten the Medical Hippocratic Oath. You will never see me again .

I was very saddened when Dr. Kerr retired because I didn't think I'd ever find a doctor as good as him but I was wrong Dr Morkos is fantastic, caring honest and trustworthy so he left me in very good hands with her.
