    After years of not having a family doctor and utilizing walk-in clinics because most practices…read morewhere I've lived weren't accepting new patients, I feel so incredibly fortunate that a colleague suggested that I apply to the Queen Street Family Health Team. (Pretty disheartening how difficult getting a doctor in Ontario is but that's a-whole-nother bag-o-worms.) It's a bit farther from home than I'd have liked but it's so worth the drive. The whole place runs like a well oiled machine and I could not have been more blessed with a primary doctor. Dr. Lum is patient and through. She's approachable and accessible. The nurse is also super efficient and easy to book appointments with. And the fact that there is a lab in-house makes getting blood work so convenient. The full practice/team is great and I can't think of a single complaint. (Ok, yes I can... I hate paying to park to visit the doctor but I think that's the city - again, another bag of worms...) If you are looking for a family doctor and if this practice is accepting applications, I highly recommend it.

    Astonishingly rude reception. They are curt and unprofessional. Hard to believe this practice has…read moreso many miserable people working in forward facing roles. It might be a good idea to provide "refresher" training on interpersonal skills and customer service to their administrative team. Otherwise, they should probably consider hiring people who actually like their jobs.
