The guy behind the counter told me that it would be ready at 4pm on Friday. I told him I needed it FOR Friday and he said he could expedite it for free and have it ready for me on Thursday past 4pm. I said great, he got my information, and I left. Thursday after 4pm I dropped in, they knew who I was and had my order ready. It felt really good that, even though I'd never been there before, they remembered me and knew when I'd be there. The manager (owner?) was really nice. It seems like a family-owned business who takes customer service seriously. Which, I suppose, is a really good thing in this day and age, for a dry cleaner.
