A bit difficult to get through to them on the phone but more on that later. After finally getting a live person on the phone I was able to get the lowdown on becoming a substitute teacher, a bachelor's degree didn't matter what in, lucky for me I just happen to have two (smile). After reading, signing and sending some documents back and forth, and completing an online prerequisite course, I found myself in a one day orientation course. The entire process was handled very professional and smooth the hardest part was getting a live person on the phone, but once I showed up for orientation I figured out why, this office is only staffed with a total of two people, answering phones in between orientation and trying to fill daily substitution assignments, so kudos to those two ladies, well done considering the workload.

It was, at the time, called Primacy Relocation. I was two days before going permanent and I had been made to work off the clock by management there as they were so backed up. The manager would meet me and others every day and hand us folders of work to do on our way out of the building. I was always complimented on my work but I knew this wasn't right so I called up to Kelly Services to complain. The recruiter sounded genuinely shocked and said she would 'handle it' and thanked me for calling. I was fired the next day. No reason given. Two days before I was scheduled to go permanent and the managers had all told me I was scheduled to be placed on permanent. I was terminated because I reported 'wage theft' and Kelly Services was complicent in this. They did not care. It was a huge contract for them and they weren't about to stand up for me. Don't trust Kelly Services.
