We hired GP Landscape Design to complete a 'Spring Clean-up' and to transplant a small ornamental Japanese bush. On the day of the clean-up, Joe dropped-off a crew to remove leaves from about a 1/2 acre lot of grass and multiple flower beds. The job completed was very unprofessional and incomplete - specifically, there were leaves left in the flower beds smothering plants that were coming up. They also damaged plants by stepping on many delicate bushes and breaking branches in the gardens. We have garden stones used as boarders for our flower beds. In our longest flower bed we found the stones scattered on the lawn after the workers finished. Seriously sloppy and careless. For the transplant of the ornamental Japanese bush, we expected they would dig-up the bush with care ensuring the full root system remained together. It appears they pulled the bush up without properly ensuring the root system was in-tact. The bush died a few days later. We attempted to connect with Joe after the job was complete to discuss our issues. We were unsuccessful reaching him and have yet to be able to talk with him. His phone number (noted below) was/is disconnected. We paid $525 for this job, which we knew was higher than many of his competitors, and expected a much higher quality job and certainly a more professional response to our final queries. Average lawn service with a surly attitude that damaged my property…read more I started using Lomonaco Landscaping in 2016 when my former lawn service sold them their routes. Was assured that the same (excellent) crew would be be kept - they were fired. The new crew did a decent job cutting the lawn - not too low that the grass burned out. But they repeatedly missed trimming obvious areas of high grass. Any time I called, they NEVER answered the phone. Usually did not return calls either. Billing: They would send a bill but with no details or dates. How can you be sure the bill is right when they skipped a few weeks due to rain? The office person finally called back, but had a bad attitude. The last straw was the damage to my fence gate. 5 years with other lawn crews, never any damage. This crew repeatedly bashed their mower into my gate posts, tearing chunks out of the wood, and breaking the pickets. The office woman called a few days ago to confirm we still wanted their service for 2017. Said no thanks. Angry reply: What do you mean? Us: Yes, we decided not to use your service. Click - she hung up. Terrible customer service. No question about why not, did you like our service, etc. If she had not been so unprofessional I would not have written this review.
