Millwerx removed and installed new hardwood throughout, replaced ceramic in bath and laundry room, built a custom fireplace surround that turned out incredible, sanded and stained our staircase, updated my kitchen with lighting and custom design work, and replaced all trim and casings along with painting the home etc... The work was done with incredible attention to detail, and care. We are pleased with our experience and have hired Millwerx to work in our rental property since, and have passed on his information to anyone we know looking to have work done on their homes or business properties. If you're looking to have a contractor come in to work on your home Millwerx is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about Millwerx and Matt Harbridge!!…read more Millwerx added a mudroom to our home in October 2013. This involved framing, drywalling, insulation, tiling, electrical, HVAC, painting and (beautiful) custom cabinetry to create a useful space for us. It was completed perfectly on budget with absolute transparency as to the cost of the items we added. There were no "hidden" nor "surprise" costs. The price was, in our opinion, fantastic. The job started on time and finished a few days late, (due to many additions we made to the project after the original timeline estimate). Communication throughout was superb - both in the planning stage and during the project. Matt replies to emails quickly and kept us up to date as to the progress and daily plan. On the few occasions during the project that we wished something to be modified or a detail to be changed, Matt was always cheerful and willing. Whatever modification we requested was completed exactly as desired. The site was kept very clean and the crew was kind and respectful. We felt completely comfortable having them in our home whether we were there or not. We even have young children who still nap and the team made every effort to only do the noisy parts outside of naptime. The final product far exceeded our expectations - we are ecstatic with both the look and the function. We have never had such a good experience with a contractor and will absolutely hire Millwerx again for our future planned renovations (custom fireplace & finishing our basement) . We recommend Millwerx without reservation.

Absolute disappointment…read more Very very very poor experience with Cole. We asked him to come for an estimate in May. He said he could do on a Monday at a certain time, then changed to later that day, then it was the next day. Things come up, that's fine, life is busy. When he came to see the job he said he could do it no problem, and he could start June 1st. I was surprised that he could come so quickly but was glad as we were hoping to have the basement bathroom and stairway done to list our house. June 1st cam and went and there was no start to our job. Something had "come up" and he didn't want to start our job and then come and go. So we waited. The next week he came, with pressure to have ANY communication from him, kept saying "tomorrow for sure" framed in the bulkhead and left. He said they could move ahead until the electrician came (which he knew electrical had to be done when he came for the estimate). He would come back the next day with the electrician and then "hammer out the basement". We got a text that evening asking if we still wanted it done, which we did. So he said we will be there tomorrow with the electrician. That turned into the electrician will come sometime on Saturday "I will text you when". With NO TEXT or communication, the electrician showed up and wired the bathroom INCORRECTLY and then left. Cole originally quoted that the job would be completed in two weeks with a June 1st start date. It is now the end of June and we have not even heard from Cole on whether he is going to finish the job. No communication since the meeting with the electrician almost two weeks ago and has ignored attempts to see if he is going to finish the job or if there was something wrong with the job. Horrible communication, the little work that was done by his crew seems decent. I mean it is a few 2 x 4s so I can't really judge. The relay of information to the electrician was clearly horrible and was done incorrectly. I try really hard to support local companies but the lack of professionalism in all aspects makes me regret every minute of it. If you are busy, I get it, just tell us you can't do the job and we will find someone else. Don't string people along and then just disappear. It was like the horror stories you hear from contractors, except there is no work done at all.

Complete the work to a professional standard and in a timely manner. Will definitely work with them…read moreagain
