A sweet inn located in the heart of Cave Creek, AZ. Rooms are comfortable and western in look. Within the Plaza are several souvenir shops, and ice cream store. The Inn is close to additional shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment and hiking. They have their own parking on the north side of Cave Creek Road.

BOOK IT! Absolutely amazing getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, with the highest quality furnishings! The beds, we have never stayed in a place with such comfortable beds. The charm of and cleanliness this place is on point; the shower was awesome, the onsite stores had such a good vibe, needless to say we'll be coming back asap and telling ALL of our friends and family about the Prickly Pear Inn!

The property is beautiful, quiet, and very clean, with plenty of space to relax. Even though we booked last minute, we were still able to get into several classes and activities, including a few we had been waitlisted for. Our room was also very nice and spotless. What truly stood out was the amazing staff. Kathleen at the front desk kindly helped check my boyfriend in early when my flight was delayed by five hours and the reservation was under my name. We also had a fantastic meal at Terras with Yolanda (highly recommend the Eggplant) and had a blast doing the high ropes course with Abe. The biggest thank you goes to Yessica in housekeeping. On the morning of checkout I unknowingly lost a one-carat diamond earring that even though was insured, I was devastated to have lost. I didn't realize it wasn't in my ear until I was almost at the airport and promptly called the resort. Yessica immediately organized a search, and although it wasn't in our bathroom as I originally thought, her team eventually located it elsewhere on the property near the restaurant/lobby. I am incredibly grateful to Yessica and the CIVANA team for going above and beyond to return something so meaningful. I will absolutely recommend this resort to everyone I know. You will arrived stressed and overstimulated and leave with a sense of calm, connection and with a restored faith in humanity.

Every employee I encountered was pleasant, cheerful, and made me feel special. The concierge (Nancy) really went out of her way to make our stay an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. What a beautiful place. We went in December and it was unusually cool that week. But the pools are heated to a perfect temperature. My wife used the spa often and really enjoyed her massage and facial. The spa was top notch and had its own large pool and jacuzzi. There are several restaurants on site and we tried a few of them. The pizza at the Discovery Lounge was fantastic!! A gourmet delight. We enjoyed our lunch at poolside by the lodge and another lunch at the Grill at the Golf Clubhouse. All of the food we tried was excellent, well prepared, and satisfying. We had a King Casita View room with a great view rocks. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally large and included a bathtub and separate shower. The only downside is that you do not have easy access to your car. I am fairly independent and not having easy access to my car was a bit uncomfortable. Your car is in a parking lot and the resort transports you to your room and wherever you want to go by golf cart. They are available 24/7 and it usually only took a few minutes for them to arrive and pick me up. I chose to walk most of the time and there are convenient pathways all over the resort. The Nature Path is a beautiful concrete path that is a 1 mile loop if you take the entire thing. It's a wonderful walk and a great way to explore the fauna of the Sonoran Desert. If you are into Golf, there is a very nice course as part of the resort grounds. Overall, a fantastic resort, on beautiful grounds, with excellent service.

Here for our son's birthday, brought 2 of his friends and needed to pay $50.00 for an additional wristband as each reservation allows for 4. 2. Poolside chairs, mostly reserved for an additional charge. We inquired for 2 chairs as it's 2:00pm and service closes at 5:00pm. $175.00/chair with an additional $30.00/chair reservation fee's. We opted not to do this and am hoping to find available 'free' chairs provided with the resort fee. 3. Ice cream is another issue, 3 cups of Dippy Dots (picture attached) was $38.00, not including tip. It's a nice hotel but the cost to be at the hotel once you arrive is crazy... consider this before booking, I haven't ordered the prerequisite chicken fingers yet that come with every hotel stay. Again, 5 stars for the hotel/service and amenities but 3 stars for the value... averaged out to 4.

We went in December and they had all the set up for the JW Jingle event with ice skating and inter tubing. There were plenty of photos ops! The entrance to the pool was locked and you needed a key card to get in. No worries there were tons of people so we just waited a minute and slipped in when someone came out. We checked in with our pass and found some seats near the hot tub. The kids went straight to the slides and I went to hot tub. It was nice but kind of small especially when the sun started to set it got really busy. The food and drinks are outrageously priced as you might expect at a resort. The food was surprisingly good though! I got a taco salad, my son got hot dog and fries and his friend got a turkey wrap. It was good but was too expensive. But hey when in Rome! The lazy river is the best. I could floated in that all day! All in all in was an expensive but enjoyable day at the JW.

The Four Seasons Scottsdale isn't just a hotel -- it's a desert mirage that actually exists…read more Built in the late 1990s, when developers decided golf courses and luxury spas could bloom where only rattlesnakes and saguaros once stood, this resort is proof that money waters everything. Think adobe chic meets spa catalog. Casitas sprawl across the Sonoran landscape like they were dropped from a helicopter and told to blend in. Inside, everything is cooled, cushioned, and curated -- a million miles away from the fact you're technically in the middle of nowhere. Step outside your casita and there's a saguaro cactus giving you the side-eye, wondering why you're paying $25 for avocado toast when it grows for free right next to you. The pool is basically an oasis, complete with cabanas that make you forget Scottsdale is basically Phoenix in a nicer shirt. The spa? You'll get massaged, exfoliated, and moisturized until you feel like a well-polished golf ball. And of course, Troon North golf course looms in the background -- a lush green playground carved out of desert that makes golfers weep with joy and water conservationists weep with rage. This is the Four Seasons -- you could walk in dressed like a hungover rodeo clown and they'd still treat you like visiting royalty (we were). Staff float around like desert ninjas, topping off your drinks, folding your towels, and politely ignoring your questionable SPF choices. The poolside margaritas are $22, but don't worry -- they come with a complimentary identity crisis. Four Seasons Scottsdale isn't hospitality, it's hostility against your bank account. (because let's face it, you're not here to save money, you're here to buy bragging rights). The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is above average, over the top, and exactly what happens when luxury colonizes the desert and wins. Funny thing is, you'll leave broke but refreshed -- which is kind of the Four Seasons brand in a nutshell.
