The staff let me speak with the VETERINARIAN himself! Needless to say Dr Acock is the kindest vet EVER. We chatted about how I got our dog, what his needs were, that I was a student and struggling to afford care. He listened patiently, explained everything the dog needed due to the bowel obstruction and reassured me through my tears that everything was going to be okay. Everyone here was SO kind and considerate and answered my questions and Dr Acock even called me twice after the X-rays and to let me know he'd managed to get my dog to throw it all up. I'll be switching ALL my dog care to Mill Creek Vet. Thank you guys for truly having your hearts in the business of pets. We appreciate you so much. Also due to Covid, it's one family member inside with a mask per pet. And they take your pet in the back for treatment and doctor sends updates. Great system :)

When I brought my dog back to get his toenails clipped, they charged $35!! I asked them about it, and they said the policy requires they charge. Do not take your dog unless you want to pay a huge amount of money for them to torture your dog and do a terrible job.

I was considering switching them to this vet since it is so much closer to where I moved to last summer. The vet we saw was very thorough and professional. She asked to see my dog with the yeast infection for a follow up in two weeks. I have pet insurance and I asked for an itemized receipt for the first dog in which they simply gave me a receipt showing office exam. The insurance requested additional information from the vet's office and they refuse to send it. They said their practice is to send it to the client and the client can forward it. My pets insurance requires it to be sent directly to them so it can not be altered. I have never had a vet clinic refuse to send it to the insurance. I've been to 4 different vets over the course of the years and anytime the insurance requests further information they have sent it. When I told the front office I was considering switching but will not since they refuse to cooperate with a simple request to email the paperwork to my insurance, they cancelled my other dog's follow up appointment. I feel the front office staff is lazy as well. I have an 80 pound and 55 pound dog. Any vet I have been to the staff weighs the pets. They made me weigh my own dogs and it was a struggle when I had two of them with me. They may be a third of the distance to my new house, but it isn't worth it when the front staff isn't professional.
