The staff let me speak with the VETERINARIAN himself! Needless to say Dr Acock is the kindest vet EVER. We chatted about how I got our dog, what his needs were, that I was a student and struggling to afford care. He listened patiently, explained everything the dog needed due to the bowel obstruction and reassured me through my tears that everything was going to be okay. Everyone here was SO kind and considerate and answered my questions and Dr Acock even called me twice after the X-rays and to let me know he'd managed to get my dog to throw it all up. I'll be switching ALL my dog care to Mill Creek Vet. Thank you guys for truly having your hearts in the business of pets. We appreciate you so much. From the second we walked in the door the staff was friendly and attentive and most of all greeted Pucky like an old friend. We had our two younger children with us and they were brought snacks and some things to play with. They brought us all back to a lovely living room type exam room that really made things comfortable. The nurse asked questions while sitting on the floor with us loving on our baby. One major thing I appreciated was when the Dr came she completed her exam and did not beat around the bush. She confirmed our concerns. It has been so hard trying to figure out what was best to do for our baby. I really appreciated the confirmation of how bad things were. We were able to say our goodbyes on our time. The staff was amazing coming in and checking on us and being with us every step of the way. They even completed all the paperwork needed before we started our goodbyes which was extremely helpful emotionally. Which I was SIGNIFICANTLY surprised by the price of the whole process versus the care and support we received. They truly care for your pet and for you! We had been going to a vet closer to us. Most recently, they helped me care for my aging dog. When it was time to say goodbye to him, the whole veterinary team was beyond wonderful. From my making that difficult call, to Dr. Kennedy coming to my home to help ease the transition for my Wiley, me and the other pets in the household, to the absolute grace and dignity they treated all of us with, to even personally handing his remains to me within just a few days, every single step was thoughtful and caring. Between this place and the canine shelter, I was lied to repeatedly. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE unless u have massive amounts of cash and just tryna donate......but if thats the case I accept donations as well and promise not to be deceitful like this clinic! lol
