In addition to the written, signed contract, this detail of the renewal contract was affirmed by a Briggs representative in an email chain. Regardless, we were later given 30 days notice to vacate. When we disputed this, we were told there were "tenant regulations" which superseded this written contract. I was not shown these regulations, nor did I see them mentioned in the lease contract. Briggs refused to honor the written contract and held my wife and I to a 30 day notice.
