Most of these…read morefillings were small and superficial but she advised us to go ahead and fill them so they didn't get worse and need more work (remember this part for later) The next day after her fillings we called back hoping to get right in because one of the fillings was really painful. They made us an appointment for several days later because they couldn't fit us in that day and they shaved down the filling a little. It was still hurting so we went back after a few more days she shaved it down again and said there's nothing more I can do if it continues to bother you I can do a root canal. This was absurd because it was a very small filling. At her next cleaning it was still bothering her so they took an x-ray and she said she didn't see anything. Nine months later we decided to use a different dentist for the next cleaning and they have discovered that all five fillings that Dr. Rick's did have failed and have active decay under them including the tooth that was bothering her. I reached out to Dr. Rick's office to ask if there was anyway that they could help us out since all 5 fillings weren't done properly and they said that they really wasn't much they could do since Lucy had not been having regular dental care. They said she has went nine months without a cleaning instead of the recommended six months. That's ridiculous!!!!! I said we are not talking about one or two fillings that she had an issue with we had an issue with all five. That can't be due to delaying a cleaning for 3 months. She did offer to redo the fillings after she examined them to see if they needed it, but at this point we don't trust her. My two other children have issues with their fillings that were done as well. They are uneven catch food and scratchy. Im so thankful that's all the work she did on them. I'm not a dentist but I would think that fillings are very basic, basic dental procedures and should be the easiest thing they do.....but she has failed us in that area. Now we have to spend an additional $3000 to take out these fillings and refill them. Some of the decay is now so severe that she will probably need root canals. So much for treating them early to prevent more expensive dental work. So this is my warning to stay away from this office. I wish someone had warned me about her before we were treated there. I wouldn't let this lady work on my dogs teeth. She needs to be investigated.

Now, I'm having to have more work done, which he is refusing to do, along with now being out of network with my insurance. When they first found out that were out of network, they claimed to be trying to get back in network, which turned out to be false. During my last visit, they claimed it was because my insurance won't up their allowances, which basically proves to me that they were NOT even trying to get back in network.
