I was impressed when the salad came out and it wasn't just a lot of lettuce with the standard single slice of cucumber and tomato. Instead it was a great mix of tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions, lettuce, green olives, and a lite oil dressing. This did help me not be super jealous of the delicious Bruschetta and Calamari some of my fellow diners were enjoying. All of the plates were clear by the end so I have a feeling it was delicious. The main was lovely. It was cute little "bags of pasta" floating in a light veggie broth with peas and asparagus. The inside of the pasta was a delicious pear mash which went great with the veggies. I had a nice glass of Malbec to go alongside it all. My colleagues had dessert and all said it was delicious. I would happily come back to Nonna's.

February 15th 2019…read more In Evening, me my mom and my dad had a family dinner together.Everything was going great. We first had to book this Italian restaurant called Rigoletto. After we got there we found a very comfortable seat. Mom and I started to order. My original plan for my third course was to eat a pancake called Crêpes Suzette. The waitress said that I couldn't order that as my third course. It was because there would be alcohol in Crêpes Suzette so he suggested me to try another dessert for my third course so I ordered tiramisu. The rest of our meal was delicious! However, our neighbors ordered Crêpes Suzette and we saw the fire flying up two meters high. It was caused by the alcohol. Because the alcohol was strong enough to make the cooking pan go on fire for two meters high. That was a funny & interesting night. I enjoyed eating in the Rigoletto and if you have time, you can go there for your dinner!!! Fun Fact This was my dolci menu!!!

The food was delicious and the service warm and friendly and the restaurant has a nice relaxed ambience. My starter was goats cheese and red pepper on Bruschetta followed by a smoked haddock linguine pasta main course. Naturally I just had to try out the lemon drizzle dessert too! Even though this restaurant has been here for around three years, it is on the quieter side of The Hub close to Sainsbury's which is probably why it is lesser known than some of the more popular chains on offer. This is a fabulous restaurant and I heartily recommend that you try it out very soon!
