Blood work had some unusual numbers so Dr Elia suggested an ultrasound, done the next day. That showed nodules on her spleen. The staff was so nice and called around to some places for availability and they were all far out. Dr Elia went the extra mile to reach out to a colleague she knows and they were able to get us in quickly! Our pooch is healing nicely and we are hoping biopsy results are ok. That's all just money money money. Half the time your pet isn't even getting any fluids or meds. The patients barely get walked so they're sitting in a cage 24/7 for weeks on end without any proper care at all. Dr Maniar orders a bunch of tests and x rays and never even looks at any results. This is all facts, not my opinion. It is absolutely not normal for your pet to be hospitalized several times a year for weeks. They are extremely rough with the patients and if they end up staying in hospital they get a single towel to lay on if they're lucky. Most of the time they just let them lay on the cold metal. If you love your fur baby, do not bring them to RAH!

Then it happened... a major accident that required surgery to our 110lb mastiff mix. Dr. Hallihan took great care of her, performed surgery and checked in with us frequently. We were hooked. We began to bring our other three dogs for regular checkups, Dr. Hallihan is always attentive and has a solution to any issues that are going on (while having the dogs best interest in mind). We highly recommend this place and will keep coming back. Don't be discouraged by the Landing, NJ location, its in a weird little strip mall that seems empty, only because the grocery store closed last year, but I can assure you its a great vet and office.

One particular experience was when my cat Winston had a urinary blockage, which is deadly in male cats. He had to be hospitalized for 3 days before we could do surgery, which was all happening very fast, and during covid which made matters extremely hard. Once my cat was stable enough to have surgery Dr. Hallihan performed it after hours and released him to us well past 11pm. After transporting him to overnight care (he was in rough shape) he stayed a night there and we had him back home. Unfortunately he got an abscess under his stitches and had no choice but to rush him to an emergency clinic. We were being told the chances of him being able to survive a 3rd surgery should this one fail were slim. I spoke to Dr. Casulli and she treated me with the utmost respect even though my animal wasn't in her care. She made calls to see how he was doing, which she didn't have to do. They truly are the best, and they truly care. We get to see them all the time now because our man winston gets to get his urine checked every 6 months! (He hates us now but that's ok.) Aside from winston the care they have given our other animals, which are all under different accounts and different names within different households and they still no matter what know which animal goes to which household Thank you to all the doctors! Especially Dr. Casulli as she always gets the pleasure of getting my babies all healthy!

This past year has seen our senior dogs practically aging in reverse due to some carefully considered procedures and ongoing care. On top of that the courtesy and professionalism is unmatched. I am a "brittle diabetic" and choosing to maintain isolation a while longer. The helpfulness of the drs and staff has been incredible. From coming out to the car for my dog to consulting with me outside, three phone calls and four trips to the car. All the while insisting that it's no trouble. They are the best!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience…read more When my dog was in absolute dire need of medical attention, this veterinary clinic completely failed us. We brought him in scared and desperate as he could no longer walk with his hind legs, trusting that the professionals there would take his condition seriously. Instead, our concerns were dismissed, communication was poor, and there was no sense of urgency despite his worsening symptoms. We were given vague explanations and minimal guidance, and I felt like we had to push for every bit of information. There was no clear plan, no proactive follow-up, and no compassion during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. By the time we realized how serious things truly were, it was too late. Our dog passed away shortly after. I can't say with certainty that the outcome would have been different, but I do know we did not receive the level of care, attention, or urgency that any pet -- or family -- deserves. Losing a pet is heartbreaking on its own. Feeling unheard and unsupported by the very people you turn to for help makes it even worse. I sincerely hope this clinic reevaluates how they handle emergency cases and how they communicate with worried pet owners, because no one should have to go through what we did. To add insult to injury, we notified them our dog passed and never received a call from our longtime vet, Dr Ray. We did get a call from the office 2 weeks after his passing to confirm his upcoming appointment though. Unbelievable!
