They make wonderful bread and delicious treats, such as excellent Guava and Cheese empanadas, and so much more. Probably not quite as interstellar as El Bolillo, definitely not as extensive or large, but also far less busy, and more homey-feeling. One of the very best and most unheralded bakeries in all of the Houston area and probably in all of Texas. They make some of the most delicious little Bolillos that you will ever taste. As well as a lot of delicious Mexican bakery products. Just as good as the location over on Bellaire next to La Bala. This one is also next to a location of La Bala. Coincidence? You decide. A truly wonderful Panaderia. Tiny and with some really angry servers - although some of the others are nice. Also, the prices are so cheap it's actually painful to buy from here. It feels like you're robbing them blind. Amazing. Should get 10 stars. They use these Bolillos at Bala next door - who whip them up into probably the best Torta you will ever eat. Try the Torta de Cochinita Pibil at Bala and see for yourself. Anyway I have to go. I have to call iente.

Prices good at just over a dollar a donut. Super sweet to me. These donuts taste different somehow, more floury than doughy or something. I dunno. No one's gonna read this so whatever. The cinnamon roll would be perfect if it had frosting but I was kinda overwhelmed by the sugar from the chocolate donut as is. Good quick service I mean it's a donut shop. Parking is easy.

Down the road from where I work and they have great kolaches, donuts, and service…read more I ordered about 130 kolaches for the staff at my school. I had to do it in advance but never an issue when doing so. They have it ready pretty much first thing in the morning or at-least within 45-hour of opening. They also gave me a box of donut holes I guess as a complimentary thing for ordering so much kolaches. The owner or I assume he is, is real nice and accommodating. The workers were awesome in helping me by labeling the boxes and offering to carry it to my car with me. Great breakfast food and staff !!

More like 3.5, but I'll be back to give them another try…read more When I popped in, the gentleman behind the counter looked up at me, then right back down to their phone. No head nod or acknowledge, but I was here for the froyo. Unfortunately, they were limited in selection. A few flavors were marked as out, and the mango gave a terrible screech. After some commotion I was told that it too was unavailable. This may be more of a systems issue as I noticed the chocolate flavor initially came out slower than molasses. The toppings were not exactly intuitive in their organization-I didn't notice Reese's cups until I'd already packed my bowl with another candy, since Reese's were not in the section with the other candy. The good news is, the gentleman at the register was incredibly accommodating and apologetic about the selection. I love the shape and overall flow of the store and it's super clean given their prime location. Everything tastes as it should, fresh, and the mochi was plump, sweet, and bouncy. That being said, this experience ended on a sweet note, so I'll surely return.
