This store is takeaway with a difference. Gourmet bread pretzels coated with tasty cheese, jalepenos, bacon or even cinnamon for the sweet tooth (even though I am more a savory guy myself).
The pricing is fair at around six dollars per pretzel, however not exceptionally great. The staff are friendly and the mere scent of the freshly baked pretzels is might fine at drawing the crowds in, however the sheer greasy appearance is in my opinion, a little off putting. After trying them though, they don't taste as greasy as they look.
I tried a simple bacon and cheese as my first, as I thought I would just sample it. I loved the fact that the pretzel was so fresh, could be pulled apart nicely and that the cheese was pleasant but not overpowering. I really would like to try a few of the others as they have quite a range.
To summarise, I am a fan, have only tried it once but wish to try it again, is a tad expensive and don't let the greasy nature of their appearance under the heating lamp fool you, quite a few of the pretzels are actually 97% fat free!! With that said, it is probably best to still consider it a "sometimes food". The grease is not overwhelming and the ingredients still work beautifully together to provide a flavor some experience to the palette. read more
