But honestly, it's something I feel like people should try at least once. Yeah it hurts, but the result is so nice afterward plus you don't have to do any maintenance down there if you plan on going swimming or to the beach. I've gotten Brazilians at this location and one in Jacksonville and like the efficiency of Brazil's Waxing Center. At this location, Karen was the technician who did mine. She was super funny and personable and was great at distracting me. For pain tolerance reference, I've gotten my underarms waxed for several years and only recently started getting Brazilians. They hurt the most for the first 3 waxes, but as the hair gets thinner they hurt less and less. Honestly, the first time was the most painful and then after it was totally doable! A few tips for first time waxers: do NOT go work out right after your Brazilian or go swimming/do anything that could clog your pores for AT LEAST 24-48 hours after. If you ignore this recommendation from the technician, I almost guarantee you will get ingrown hairs. No one wants that. I actually really like the exfoliate and ingrown hair serum that they sell there, but I don't think the soap is worth the money. Bottom line: just try it!!

I don't get my nails done very often anymore but when I do I usually end up going here. What I have noticed (besides the 2 or 3 regular seasoned employees) is lately it seems they have new/different employees working there every time I do go there that don't really seem to know what they're doing or have very little experience, it seems to now be a training store for new employees. I've seen some that cause bleeding incidents, some that don't really seem to care about how your nails look whether they're crooked, too long or too short or uneven. I've even seen them add liquid to the polish bottles to make more that dilutes the color of the polish. Hence, my fingernails end up a different shade than my toenails using the same bottle. Speaking of polish, the packages the polishes are in where you chose your colors from the wall look so old, used, with specks of color all over the packages and it's just not appealing at all. I've seen the name of the business change 2 or possibly 3 times in the last 3 or 4 years but the wall of polishes have not changed at all. It would be nice to see a refresh to this wall and change these bottles out with new polish and hopefully better trained employees too.

I had see BumbleBee Skincare and waxing on my way to and from work and just passed it thinking parking would be inconvenient. However, I made a hassle free appointment using the MindBOdy app and realized they have free parking around the corner. I was a little skeptical initially so I only booked an under arm appointment. When I entered the business, I was brightly greeted by their amazing front desk associate. She was kind and professional. I really miss that quality of care in customer service but had become accepting of it. This was a great change. I was also happy to feel taken care of by a very knowledgable professional. I happen to ask how long they've been in business and was not surprised to find out it was 19 years. You can really tell when a business care for their employees and their well being. I really wish I had started my waxing experience here. The wax or method they use is fast, effective and pretty much painless. I left happy and with a wonderful face scrub and was happy that I found a new home for waxing. It feels absolutely luxurious and spa like. I went home and booked a brazilian for the next day. The usual dread of certain areas that are usually very painful were unperceived by the conversation. My surprise at how efficient and fast my wax was left me beyond grateful and knowing I'd found a new go-to place. I am very excited to try their facials soon and learn more about taking care of my skin this year.
