I just had a chemical peel done with the owner Linda. The results were excellent, my face looks smooth and wrinkle free. I had botox done a few months ago and the experience was great and the results have made a big improvement to my appearance. I had my eyebrows microbladed a few weeks ago by Linda at Pretty Face Medi Spa and just had my touchup this afternoon. Linda is very knowledgeable and trained in her field and has such a good eye for what looks good on someone. She asked for my input, shared her opinion and, together, we came up with the perfect brows for me. I've gone elsewhere and not been satisfied with the results. I received dermal fillers and laser treatments at Pretty Face Medi Spa of Montrose, NY, owned by Linda Nicolo. I was injected by visiting Dr, Luiza Petre in April, 2019. Restylane injections were performed to the tear troughs. The restylane was mixed with saline, and as soon as it was injected into my right side, the Dr. said "Yea, that's going to bruise". The right side was extremely painful and a far different experience than the left side; though this was my first experience and I didn't know what to expect nor just how terrible the results would be. I ended up with severe swelling and a black eye for the next three months (now well over 7 months later- still with discoloration to date though the swelling resolved once Linda took accountability 3 months after the bad injection by sending me to an outstanding Ocular Surgeon). The owner, Linda treated me roughly two weeks after injection with the Pico laser indicating this was safe after the filler, which seemingly further exasperated the issue. I ended up with white and purple pouches and extreme swelling beneath my right eye. Linda told me it would resolve and be "beautiful" - to put Arnica on it. The Dr. apparently mixes with saline which Linda said is the cause of the white spots that would dissipate. My prior experience at this practice was great, and so I trusted her advice. When it did not resolve, she next tried to convince me it was my fault and I must be pressing on it. Over the course of 3 months, I tried to believe her, and even went to several eye Dr.s on my own as my vision was blurry from the swelling beneath my eye as it continued to increase over an extended period of time. She repeatedly assured me that this can in no way be related; though in June of 2019, when seen by another eye Dr. (and have med. records to prove) this was a "foreign body" beneath my eye and I was told I must be seen by the injector to dissolve this. Eventually, 3 months of calls and pictures sent later, Linda admit that the Dr. did the same thing to her and offered to send me to an amazing ocular surgeon and have the mistake corrected. She told me she would credit the service for the inconvenience and that Dr. Petre would not perform any procedures on me moving forward. I have voicemails of Linda taking ownership at this point and apologizing - she claims she fired the Dr, and that she had the same experience with Dr. Petre's injections. I visited the ocular surgeon 2 x and Linda insisted on being present, probing the Dr. for answers on how he resolved their mistakes. While accountability was finally taken, I was forced to walk around with a black eye, visit several Dr.s, be prescribed unnecessary antibiotics/oral solutions, and miss time at work until this point. This was absolutely humiliating to walk around this way. I had people asking if I was "okay" due to my black eye and I work with the public. Linda continuously called me after, and when I inquired about the credit she indicated that she placed on my account, she got defensive and combative accusing me of trying to take advantage and get free services from her business. She told me she had to fire her Dr. because of me (as if ANY of this was my fault or as though I pressed her to do so??). This was beyond insulting, as I am uncertain most patients would have been as patient, trusting or mainly NAIVE as I had been up until this point. While matters were corrected, I suffer from permanent discoloration and scaling of the skin where the edema persisted long term. I continue to be seen by a dermatologist who also referred me to a plastic surgeon to deal with. I wish Linda had taken me seriously sooner as dissolving the faulty work/filler at an earlier point may have helped in the long term damage. The biggest take-away here is to ONLY visit a board certified plastic surgeon. I understand that accidents happen; though this should've been dealt with in a timely matter and I should never have endured her insults; as if I was chasing any free service while the truth is the opposite. I would've paid to NOT go through any of this. The least they could have done is fix the error, refund the cost of service for the weeks/months of inconveniences and embarrassment, and offer a sincere apology. read more

I have gone to Pretty Face for the past 8 years - from facials in high school to more recently microderm and filler. Linda is always professional and gives her honest expert opinion on what will enhance my natural features without being overdone. This was my first filler experience and I am thrilled with the results! I had consulted derms for filler in city and am so glad i waited to do it with Linda - i experienced a much more thorough consultation process and professional experience than other injectable medi spas in the city. read more

I had work done on my face to get rid of the creases and the sagging skin around the lower part of my mouth. First I was miss quoted about the price, so when it came to paying the owner wanted to up charge me three times the amount that I thought it would be. Of course I refused and she lower the price. The owner also had told me that the fillers will last for 8 to 12 months and after 2 months the sagging and the creases around my mouth started to come back. I find that the owner of this establishment is not honest, and I would not recommend this place. read more

Pretty awful. Very unprofessional, and overcharged me considerably for some botox treatments -- $2700, without telling me the charges I was racking up. Results were so-so and did not last. Don't know why I didn't protest -- I was too shocked. Owner is rude and pretty flaky. Stay away! read more

Terrible experience. I went in to have marionette lines filled. The nurse (no doctor) injected filler into each side of my bottom lip. I was told that this would fill the marionette lines. Instead I have a blue patch on each side of my lip. It has been there for 4 years ! I asked the owner for help in anyway, lip permanent makeup etc.. The owner,Linda, denies culpability. She said that there is nothing that she can do to help me. And will not admit fault. Please do not use this establishment. Go to a doctor. It doesn't cost more. It is your face! I went here quite a while ago for eyebrow permanent makeup, I should have thought twice because she was not nice on the phone, very cranky and she seemed flustered. I gave this place a chance since it was closer to home and applying eyebrow makeup isn't rocket science, well she struggled with making the eyebrows even and getting the correct shape, she even complained about how much I was bleeding, as if something was wrong with me. I have to mention that I have had this procedure done before at another place and I did not have this problem with bleeding, also she was very rude, she would stop and check her work and would ask me rude questions, like why am I looking this way? She wanted me to send her referrals, but I would not recommend someone who is so rude and cranky, if I am paying my money I want to be treated properly with respect. There are plenty of places to go to, go to a place that will treat you with kindness. By the way, I wanted my eyebrows to be thicker but she was afraid or reluctant to do so, everyone knows thicker eyebrows make you look younger, anyway her work was not even and it wore off sooner than normal. read more
