The water is CONSTANTLY being turned off yet our water bill is super high, which makes no sense at all. In September it was turned off twice, and the email from the property management stated they were fixing an issue to prevent future water issues. What a joke. Constant break-ins EVERYWHERE. This complex spends all this money revamping their clubhouse when they should spend some money on fixing the security issue. The security gate is always broken not to mention. The dog feces is another story, dog feces EVERYWHERE. It's gross. Don't even get me started on the gym equipment. The gym equipment is horrible, and could cause serious injury because they don't update or fix the equipment. When you need to contact the office for a situation it just so happens everyone is out taking tours or are "busy". It is very rare they answer their phone. The new property management is worse than it was when it was promotory pointe. I'm going to do another update in a couple of months to see if any of these issues were addressed. read more

ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES. What do we pay pest control for? We've had our apartment sprayed ONCE since we've lived here (going on 2 years) and that was AFTER we put a request in because we became INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I hate living here. Management is not helpful, nobody cares about your living environment. If you think it's a good idea to live here because the units are cheap, ask yourself why are they so cheap? You pay for what you get and we're over paying for this. Absolutely disgusting. I'm just glad we don't have a baby or else I'd be even more pissed. read more

There is trash everywhere. Management allows people to leave their trash in the breezeways forever. Animals get in it and spread trash all over the property, then the maintenance crew just mow over it. This trash has been in my breezeway for over a month. On the first of last month I emailed management about it and it is still there. Every month they have another reason they have to enter our apartments. Google fiber installation, foundation repairs, plumbing issues or SAWS problems, this month is "annual fire inspection". Utilities are shut off constantly for one reason of another. read more

Preston Peak Apartments Review: Me & my two young boys went to view Preston Peak Property this past Wednesday. My lease agent Sam & I have been communicating since mid October. I was able to view the Classic (NON UPGRADED UNIT) which I did not like soon as I entered the unit. Was very poorly put together & mix matching color scheme. Pretty much outdated unit. I was then shown Quartz (FULLY UPGRADED UNIT) BEAUTIFUL layout & decor, plus spacious square footage, stainless steel fixtures, gooseneck faucets. I was not able to see the unit I was requesting for a late December move in (UNIT #17306) monthly rate of $1,158.00 on the 3RD floor. Sam stated she would email a photo of the unit to me. I have never received the image via mail. I called her multiply times & she was out of office each time with not one returned call back to me to close the deal. Which very shocking, I'm almost sure that's how leasing agents get paid by closing & signed contracts. Her co-worker then said she would send the pictures via email, still did not receive. I called again yesterday for the 5TH time before work & I was told by another unknown leasing agent SAM STATED: "she didn't know who I was OR WHAT I WAS SPEAKING OF".... I am disgusted with the response I was given & quality of service. First impression down the drain & gone. I also told Sam this move was already stressful enough having to do it right after the holidays. I choose this complex to ensure we stayed in the same school zone district we have been in the last 3years, right outside your complex. I'm not happy at all or even comfortable moving here now. You representing the complex already shown me your true colors & how you mistreat new residents. I have spoken to Caitlin with Greystar property who did get me in touch with Brittany, manager over Preston Peak apartments. We are now month later & due to the bad service, incorrect information, poor follow up time, temporary lease agents hired under temp agencies, I am being charged $1,557.00 for Quartz & Granite unit. When I was quoted $1261.00 for Granite by Samantha Garcia. Still not given the option to view GRANITE or response. Pink Elephant in the room. Don't know who would sign a lease with out seeing the actual property & yet the price keeps spiking. I just left a voicemail something needs to be done here to correct the actions/ poor service. read more

So I lived there for almost 4 years and in the very beginning around June of 2019 give or take the air conditioner went out and it wasn't fixed for a few days however it was fixed shortly after about 3 days I was discouraged however I remained hopeful, I loved where I lived very quiet and responsive for most problems, however parking I will say is a problem if you have more than one car but I love that apartment and if ever one day I can afford a one bedroom and live there on my own I will definitely. Not to mention the bathrooms are amazing as well as the closets for the 2 bedrooms however I will say this I recommend they are harsher with the patio conditions some are honestly trashy but again I had a good experience. I'm only giving this a rating of one because I have to in order to post, this has been the most horrific experience. Having rented with greystar in the past I thought this would be a pleasant experience but I was so wrong. To start off with they have a weird set time of only being able to pick up keys from 4pm - 6pm Monday through Friday? I've never had an apartment give keys that late but it makes so much sense considering management is absolutely irresponsible. I decided to maybe try to get the keys earlier that day and Adriana let's me know that I can not I have to wait till 4, okay cool I leave I thought I would just try? At around 3:40 I start making my way to the apartments since I only live like 10 away, I'm parking and I see I have a missed call from them at 3:54 pm I decide to call even though I'm outside, I'm on hold for 6 minutes I decided to just walk in I'm told to hold on, Adriana tells me there's a small hiccup that my apartment isn't ready it needs some touch ups( mind you I was there at 10 am that same day so why would they still be touching up?) she tells me I can go back tomorrow and it will be ready and I tell her no I can't wait I have people helping me move in that won't be available tomorrow, she then tells me to give her an hour and 30 minutes and I can have the keys again I'm understanding even though my lease clearly states my move in day is the 19, I wait and wait and she never calls I decide to call at 5:15 pm ask if it's ready again I'm on hold...another lady answered and says my apartment is not gonna be ready at all today that I have to wait I tell her absolutely not? I spoke to Adriana and she told me I could have the keys today due to me not having any help any other day, she tells me to come inside so I do Adriana then tells me the apartment is so not ready for anyone to move in and again I tell her my move in day was today I have all my stuff in trailers waiting( she also could of told me this at 10am when I asked for the keys initially) that my apartment was nowhere near ready so I pretty much have to fight with them for my keys even tho I signed my lease even tho they knew when I dropped off my deposit the week before they knew my move in day and also I thought how bad could it be ? They knew my move in day? Some scratches a couple of paint spots needed ? They can come do that tomorrow I need to move my stuff in since my lease with my other apartment was up in a few days. I WAS SO WRONG we walk to the apartment first off there are serval men standing at the end of building 24 waiting idk for what ? We walk through the hallways and there is trash everywhere I've never seen a less upkeep apartment, the stairs to go down to the apartment I was at had forks and wrappers all along there was alcoholic cans on the side, we walk in and instantly was hit with an awful smell of MOLD they kept trying to point of things they needed to " paint" and most importantly in the bathroom a big splat of mold on the celling I couldn't believe it because prior she said it was " fixed" someone just had to come by tomorrow to sheet rock it :) " they said they would send someone to finish the apartment touches the next day I took the keys and I didn't move a thing I automatically called my dad and he came so we could take a better look, rent for this unit was a little under $1200 with fees. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling mold in the closet mold on the floor of the bathroom and mold in the bathtub, the floors in the bedroom where peeling off the kitchen had stained cabinets stained bookshelf's, MY FRONT DOOR the inside of my door had " merry Christmas " written on it!!! This is the worst experience I do not recommend anyone living here the management dose not care! They knew when my move in day was I signed my lease sent in paperwork all a month prior! Even that exact day they knew I was moving in, it's reckless to have so much mold and to say it could be fixed within a day!!! absolutely NOT, please for the health of yourself or kids stay away I usually never write reviews like this but this was so disgusting and unprofessional! I will be contacting the city and will be asking for my money back and lease to be released! If you're looking for a good home savannah oaks has been so good to me and it's looking like I'm about to resign there again! Here are the pictures and I also have videos *** UPDATE I turned in my keys that next morning and asked to be released from the lease and my money back they said they would send me a check and I will keep y'all updated, I also asked for a written letter stating why I would be released due to the apartment being filled with MOLD and have yet to revive it! I really tried to hold off on even calling corporate or posting on Instagram where I know I'll get more traction to see if they would at least get it together and they absolutely have not :) read more

Horrible place to live. Lame office staff who never answer phones and take weeks to answer simple emails. Water consistently gets shut off. They lie to your face as well. When they screw up they don't say sorry, just passive aggressive "thank you for your patience." There was mold in our apartment, there was trash around the property sometimes, the floors are thin and wooden so you'll hear your neighbor walking upstairs. The buildings are shifting, my building has been shifting and caused our apartment to crack. Our door could not even open properly til we called maintenance several times, and they did a poor job so we screwed in the door knob on our own instead. Parking is limited and no extra covered (and close by) parking spots are available to purchase bedsides the standard One that comes with a unit. It is a bit overcrowded too. And shady people live here. They have broken into my car and there is petty crime that occurs. Preston Peaks is not accountable whatsoever. They know they're bad and at this point they're not even sorry, they expect you to put up with it. read more

Oct 2021, upon move-in two maintenance workers were in my unit with the door open "fixing" things up- this is about 6pm. After I startled them- and they dropped F-bombs because they were not expecting me in there for some reason, I realized that they were spray painting my stove top burners with black spray paint. They also left the spray paint bottle on my balcony as a gift since they were in such a rush to hand over the apartment to me. The burners were, in fact, spray painted and the paint transferred to a pan that I was testing out (since I saw them spraying them and walking them back in from the spraying area in the balcony). The apartment itself was so FILTHY that I had to not only break down the entire refrigerator and bleach all removeable parts, but my husband and I went out and bought a $300 carpet cleaner because the carpet was unbearably dirty. I have date-stamped photos of the filth that we cleaned up. Our vehicle was stolen from the complex (Sept 2022). And don't let them tell you that they have working gates now, they're not closed 75% of the time anyway. Mgmt will comment about how the gates have been consistently working, because we all know that that is simply not true and I have taken so many photos to come back to show other possible tenants if ever asked. The front office did nothing about the incident and did not seem to care when I notified them. Our neighbor's car was actually stolen the same night and we were told by him that they did not care to do much for him either. They didn't even send an email to warn people of the recent thefts. 2nd biggest issue that we had overall was that the maintenance team told us that ALL A2 models have poor air circulation. I put in so many requests to fix our AC because I had JUST had a baby in June 2022 and I was not able to sleep with my baby with his bassinet in our bedroom because it was SO hot. I am assuming that it was so hot because the LARGE RODENTS in our walls must have moved all of the insulation. The issue was pushed off SO many times and FINALLY in August of 2022, less than two months before move out, Joe finally came over and listened to us and discovered that it was not a poor circulation issue, the bedroom was so hot because there was absolutely NO more insulation in our closet area and the closet itself was measuring at 94 degrees F. Nothing was done despite being told a contractor would come by the next day. We were SHOT at on Fredericksburg RD by some random kid. Area is dangerous and complex is dirty. Been here almost 2 years and it's just not worth it. Water always getting shut off all day with no warning. Roaches are always an issue. Grass is all dead and never taken care of. Apartment came with washer and dryer and dryer takes 5+ times for a load to dry and when asked for it to be fixed they said the new policy is to take away the dryer and not to replace it. No one answers at the leasing office when called. They don't care abt anything being fixed, they just "upgrade" the leasing office and paint the exterior of the building which haven't been fully done yet after many many months. Pool is always gross. Super outdated units and nothing is fully fixed. Had my garbage disposal burst and after 2 weeks they fixed it but there was water damaged under the sink so after I asked them to come fix that another bit goes by and all they did was paint over it. (Just an example how nothing is fixed). Can't wait to move out! read more

My move-day was July 7th at 4pm and when I arrived, I was told they were doing renovations to my unit that SAME day and I was going to have wait probably another day. I had been stopping by their office everyday for updates on my unit for about a week because no one ever answers calls in that office. Had to end up canceling my contract that same day because of their stupid team. Their excuse for their sucky management team is always that they lack staff or because they are going through new management; they lack communication and transparency, HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

so I tired to give this place another try but currently regretting resigning at this apartment complex. I moved into the one bedroom here last month and since then I thought I'd have peace and be happy, but it's been another shit show. for starters my guest's car was towed. even with me registering the car and paying $10 for theIR car to park here for 2 days. it was still towed. had to argue with them about refunding my. which luckily they did. i made 4 complaints about my upstairs neighbors being loud and stomping. it literally sounds like they having a WWE wrestling match upstairs all hours of the night. I am a day shift ICU nurse. have to be up at 5:30 AM yet can't get sleep. I go tell them. I got told "we'll warn them. we'll reach out to our team and get them to stop!" never stopped. AND once again we are having routine water shut off because "theres a leak!" to be honest there is a leak in this apartments pipes at least 2x a month. imagine having no running water 3 out of the 7 days a week. that's how it been and I have the emails to prove it. I have to go to my gym to shower. I just went to go talk to them and every single one of the staff members are sitting some eating food and told me "sorry we're closed right now!" if I'm not mistaken the hours are 9-6. why are you closed. so while your tenants do not have water and etc you guys are stuff yalls face with food. this is unprofessional. Gabriel I will say has been helpful. He tries. The others I can't speak for. I ask questions they never have an answer it's always "I'll get back to you!" And they never do until I remind you. I reached out about my parcel pending setup. I was told "We will reach out to you to let you know it's done. Give us 2 days!" It's been 2 weeks. ive been here for 2 years and counting. Really wanted to belive maybe it'll be different. But you know the saying "someone shows you who they are believe them!" this apartment is horrible. Nice apartments. but living here comes at a cos. Had an appointment to view a couple of apartments at 10:30 am on 8/27. Showed up just before my appointment time, there was nowhere to park, had to park in a fire lane. Went inside, there was one leasing agent sitting at a desk near the front door. He was with a couple. He didn't even acknowledge me as I came in. I walked around in the lobby looking for another leasing agent and didn't see anyone else. I walked back by the front door... clearly in his view and waited for several minutes. He never even glanced at me. Finally I said, excuse me and asked him if there were any other leasing agents, becausei had an appointment. He replied that there weren't and said that he could help me later. I walked out. Why have appointment scheduling if it means nothing? Why can't you have the common courtesy to greet someone as they enter. If they don't have basic customer service skills... they aren't going to be good at anything. You have 1 chance to make a good first impression. read more
