I truly cannot thank Mr. Askander enough. My brother and I were in a very stressful and emotional…read moresituation and urgently needed legal advice about our father's living trust. The same day I called, he made time for us to come in and speak with him, which meant so much to us during such a difficult moment. My father has been diagnosed with dementia, and the woman who was caring for him took him to married her, which left us scared and unsure about what could happen to his home here in the US. Mr. Askander took the time to carefully review everything, explain it to us in a way we could understand, and reassure us that my father's trust from 2007 was valid and that the house deed was properly placed in the living trust. He gave us peace of mind when we were overwhelmed and worried. His compassion, knowledge, and patience made a huge difference for our family. We walked out of his office feeling relieved, protected, and grateful. I truly recommend Mr. Askander to anyone who needs honest and caring legal guidance. I will definitely be using him again when I'm ready to start working on my own living trust for my children. Thank you so much for all your help during such a difficult time--it truly meant the world to us. I also want to mention that his secretary was very kind, patient, and helpful, which made the whole experience even more comforting.

In…read moretimes when you don't know who to trust with your personal information, Karina and her team are without a doubt the best team to work with. Karina helped me with my Advanced Parole application and my AOS application. In both processes, they have always been detailed, supportive, kind, and hardworking in getting things done. While other immigration lawyers just help you with the application, Karina goes above and beyond in supporting you every step of your journey, including when you return from your trip. When it was time to apply for my AOS, she was very thorough in giving me a list of exactly what I needed and reviewing those items before submitting my application. Trust me, I've been to places that don't review your documents because they're lazy and just want to get you in and out. Karina and her team are not like that. They make sure that everything is perfect to maximize your chances of getting approved. I had to do a marriage interview and was so nervous about it. However, Karina prepped me with everything that could be expected in the interview since it can be a little nerve-wrecking. She also advocates for you and goes with you to the interview on your interview day. It is an additional cost, but it's definitely worth it since you want someone to represent you, ensure you're getting a fair interview, and even clarify the questions so you don't accidentally answer something the wrong way. Nevertheless, I'm overwhelmingly grateful to have been able to work with Karina and her team! We submitted my AOS in 7/2025 and got the approval in 9/2025. I will continue to work with Karina and her team when it comes to applying for citizenship and will keep referring everyone I know to her!

My first 5 star rated business and this place deserves it. I've always done my own taxes through…read moreTurboTax; I was a w2 employee and didn't really have much to write off. After meeting with Vina I regret doing my own taxes. To file jointly for my husband and me, both w2 employees, it cost $225 - cash or check only. My experience with Vina was so spectacular that I have already recommended her to 4 of my friends/family without reservations. Location - office is in an office building complex - third floor. Go up the elevators, turn left and she's at the end of the hall. Parking is ample. Reception - I called about 2 weeks ago and easily made an appointment a week and a half later. Within 24 hours I was emailed a new client letter as well as a 16-page new client organizer. The email did indicate that I needed to PRINT and bring several documents with me such as my 2015 tax returns, W2 and the new client form. I was running late for my appointment (~10-15 minutes) so left a message on their voicemail as I had the first appointment and office was not yet open. Receptionist called at 9:05am to tell me it was ok and that they would hold my appointment. This was icing on the cake for me. Especially for such a small firm, keeping appointment times are crucial and I was very grateful that they were willing to accommodate. Vina - SUPER personable. We had roughly an hour session and at the end of the hour I felt very comfortable with Vina. She truly tried to get to know my husband and me without getting too personal. Tax - Vina's approach mirrored what my husband and I were looking for. With her background in auditing, Vina has an in depth knowledge of all the deductions we were owed; even ones that we never considered. My husband and I are fairly conservative when it comes to our taxes, but we were looking for someone who could be more aggressive and help us maximize our returns. Throughout the meeting, Vina asked us various questions about our lives and spending habits which opened doors for deductions that I didn't know we qualified for as W2 employees. Vina gave us some great tips for this year to come so that we can organize our receipts and spending's more thoroughly. Bottom line - Vina was able to double our tax returns compared to years prior. We are going to have her amend our previous 3 years after tax season is over. As Vina is the only tax preparer I have ever used I do not have any comparisons. If any of the people I've recommended end up filing with Vina, I will update this review with their input in terms of the returns they receive. I only have two gripes about this place and both are minor and do not warrant losing a star. First would be if I could email all my documents. Especially in a day and age when most people are moving towards a paperless system, it would have been nice to have a paperless option; however, I understand that some people work better with a physical copy in hand. My second point would be to have an online appointment booking system. They can book appointments by phone, email, and Facebook messaging; however, being able to pull up their calendar and do a side-by-side comparison would be nice. However, I understand that getting an excellent online booking system could be very costly and time consuming so not worth burning a star. Overall, I'd recommend Vina to any and every one without hesitation.
