If I could give Gustav a 6 stars I would!!! They provided excellent service and were very responsive which was very critical for my wedding. More specifically, our venue was very unreasonable about many of the requirements for serving alcohol-- even until hours before the event, which was incredibly stressful for my wife and I. Gustav was excellent in following up and making sure to provide the necessary documents and to make sure we can have amazing refreshments and specific choice of drinks. This included a niche Japanese sparking sake called Mio. Seriously. Given all the constraints and unreasonable requests, I am surprised they didn't drop us as clients. We are truly forever in their debt for allowing us to have a magical night! I really can't express how much Prestige SJ came in clutch! Their price was also more than reasonable and they have all licensing and services which is quite rare for their price range. Most venues rely on the venue to have certain licensing and bartending services with this kind of licensing become quite expensive. Finding the right bartender for our venue was a steep uphill battle. My wife and I really struggled and almost gave up on having alcohol for our wedding. Thank you so much Prestige SJ!!! It sucks to make this review, because my first experience working with this business was more then I can ask for. This time was not that great. My event was May 4th last week, leading up to the event working with Gustavo was okay. It was so hard to get ahold of him I would send emails, calls, and even voicemails and never really was able to ask him questions or he just wouldn't respond. This wasn't my experience when I worked with Victoria. It took a while for him to send me the list of what he needed for the drinks and everything else. Even the same week as the event no answer and no call to confirm they were coming because of the rain. Bartender was suppose to come at 2pm to set up didn't come till around 3pm, upon arrival we told him where we wanted him and in the contract Gustavo made for me, I wanted the coolers, bar table, and ice. He showed up with a folding table, a blue plastic table cover, a bucket, and 2 small wine coolers. Not what I had asked for and paid for. When I saw how he had set up I immediately called Gustavo to the number on here, straight to voicemail multiple times. Spoke with the bartender he was able to get ahold of Gustavo, apparently one of the bartenders broke the bar table the week before and they ordered from Amazon didn't come in time. Not once Gustavo during that week he called me to let me know what happened. I was so upset because it was the day of the party and all he sent was a foldable table. When I first hired this company I paid less than what I paid this past weekend and still got more and they were super professional. He talked about payment and all he could offer me was 25% off which honestly is still more than what I should've paid for. The bartenders were great that's why I'm giving them 3 stars, but with how he handled this I won't be hiring again. And to top it all off, bartender said he would pick up the table, bucket, and 2 small wine coolers the following day May 5th and I said that was fine I understood they were tired and everything. As I'm writing this it's still here, it's been a whole week and Gustavo won't return my calls or emails, there's only so much I can do to get a ahold of him. read more

We worked with Prestige for our 200+ person wedding reception on December 15th and they did an amazing job! The bartenders were professional, and Victoria, their manager, was amazing to work with. We had a lot of special requests, and Prestige was able to accommodate us easily. For one, we wanted to have a Dole Whip machine (that we rented from another company) and asked if the bartenders could operate it and serve it at the bar as apart of a specialty drink. Secondly, we needed an extra busser because our caterer was going to charge us an arm and a leg if they had to clean up drinks. When we asked Victoria if her bartenders could serve Dole Whip and if she could send an extra person, she made it happen, no problem!! I highly recommend Prestige Bartending for any event. We recently hired John and Lydia to bartend my aunts 69th surprise birthday party. Not only were they available to book at the very last minute when our previously hired bartender double booked. Wow! We booked prestige for our 140 guest backyard wedding and could not be more happier with their service! The bartenders were professional, courteous, and very attentive. They kept sending a bartender to make sure my wife and I were never without a drink hahaha, right out of how I met your mother, "Thank you Linus!" We had a 100 person wedding that required a last minute bartender. Working with Victoria, we were able to put together a reasonable drink list and Prestige absolutely delivered in terms of service and drinks. All of our guests commented on how friendly Danny and Victoria were, and the drinks tasted delicious. They were easy to work with, and flexible with the event space. They brought TWO bars because I didn't know the exact space, and the final bar looked great. It was my first time planning a wedding (and hopefully last time), and I appreciated how they: * Designed the drinks menu with our wedding colors in mind. * Victoria was able to tell me total cost of everything upfront. We appreciate knowing the full price ahead of time, as we hate being surprised by hidden fees along the way. * Made sure all the drinks were ready (uncorked all of the red wine on the tables to air out the wine, chilled the white wines and beers, etc.) before the guests arrived. * Asked us throughout the evening for any drinks we'd like. We had a sweet heart table, and I never thought about how the bride/groom gets drinks in this type of situation. Had the pleasure of working with Prestige Bartending SJ for our July 14, 2018 wedding in San Jose at Dynasty Restaurant with roughly 400 guests. Victoria was very easy to communicate with via email. I found them through yelp and am so glad we booked them for our wedding. We received a detailed shopping list, menu sign for the bar on the day of. A couple days before the wedding, I received an email to confirm all of the details which was great. We received so many great comments from our guests regarding the bartenders from Prestige. There were 3 bar tenders present. Anthony (the lead bar tender) was very helpful, he moved all of the alcohol (20 cases of beer, roughly 30 bottles of liquor, mixed drink stuff, etc). which was all stored in a storage room at the restaurant.
