Having been to the Farm-To-Fork Capitol and the markets there, my expectations were low. This market far exceeded and competed with any of the markets I've visited in the Sacramento and Napa regions! Why? Because the prices of the produce are truly amazing, the array of vendors and the friendliness of everyone was spectacular, and the entire area was clean and inviting as to the set up. I met amazing people and discussed their locally sourced products. I had no idea that Arizona grew such beautiful items. Husband and I loved our fresh delicious salad made we that evening from greens and produce from Libelula Farm and others. I hated to be GF because Noble Bread has THE MOST amazing offerings of fresh baked goods! GOOD FORM FOODS (Google them!) had THE MOST AMAZING walnut butters ever! Delish and at a great price! Husband highly recommends LOVE'S JERKEY CO which has an outstanding array of Jerkey from locally sourced beef. The various beautiful fresh flower displays for sale were delightful. And... THE FOOD VENDORS WERE PLENTIFUL and all looked amazing! I highly recommend stopping by and giving K-TOWN IN AZ and BAGEL DADDIES a try as their delicious fresh made items are hard to resist! Five stars for this amazing event!!!!

There are artist booths, and plant booths, and food booths and all the dogs that want to make friends but much more walking room to allow for discussions among friends... I am locked in, the vendors I interacted with were Awesome, kind and personable. The vibe here is just 'different' than the other market. This one made me feel like "welcome". Next vist? A plant. Maybe I grab one once a month and increase my collection. So stoked!

Urban Organic Gardens. They are hiding everywhere. You just have to keep your eyes open…read more I stumbled on this wonderful little patch of heaven while I was on the "Arcadia 9th Edible Garden Tour." It was one of the scheduled stops on the garden map. I had no idea what a treat we were in for as we pulled up to what appeared to be an ordinary one-story quiet neighborhood house. Getting out of the car we realized that this was no ordinary front yard. Yes, it had a small wooden rail fence around it. But behind that fence there was no traditional landscaping, no hedges, no grass, no manicured flower beds. There were rows of beans and corn and tomatoes and peppers! As we walked through the carport to the back, we entered a delightful sun room filled with baskets of fresh produce - all freshly picked and, of course, for sale. (Yep, I bought a few small fresh green items to supplement my salad already in the refrigerator at home.) The back yard was more of a delight than the front. Raised beds. Veggies and flowers. And, yes, there was some grass . . . . but most of all it was a miniature oasis of a farm from my childhood. There were chickens and goats, who all seemed somewhat nonchalant about city dwellers stumbling through their little bit of heaven. My Farmyard is a delightful example of what you can do to "grow locally. produce organically. [&] eat well." One of the services they will help you with is planning your own raised bed garden in your yard. They will help you create a "Planting Plan." Oh, I didn't tell you the best part. If you don't want to convert your yard to a veggie garden, you can sign up for weekly Urban Farm Produce Baskets. Freshly picked seasonal veggies and fruits delivered once a week. They even have half shares that are perfect for 1 person. And extra large shares for families or vegetarians. No more been in the store too long and came from who knows where. These veggies and fruits are grown in your own back yard - or in My Farmyard's front yard! Call and go visit your local urban organic farmer. He/she lives on a wonderful little patch of heaven right here in our city!

Both had spent a few hundred dollars to help ensure their gardens were successful. I, on the other hand, was told it would be a $2k minimum just to plant the vegetables (that's with me creating the beds and doing the irrigation on my own)...and that it could be as much as up to $5k. The reason for the price discrepancy? "My location". I'm certain that's not the true reason as I don't live that far away (Chandler) It was either A) not profitable enough for them with the small job I required or B) related to my last name. Regardless, I recommend others take their business elsewhere.

Have seen them call themselves Green Market, Go Green Market & Going Green. Need to stick with one or they're just going to confuse people. As far as the market itself, the location is nice. They've closed off a good part of Craftsman Court and it has a nice relaxed feel. Also ample parking all over & great places to grab lunch nearby. My favorite things with farmers markets are great produce and good food so that's what I look for. There are a couple of produce vendor and a couple of food stalls. I'm very excited to see Seacat Gardens there as we've been a big fan of them from Downtown Market for years. From talking with them, it sounds like they are really expanding their offerings which is great. Can't wait for their unbeatable tomatoes a bit later in the year. We're also fans of Crooked Sky Farms from Downtown Market & they have about the same size presence at Green Market. We also saw a number of vendors that have presences at either OTFM (Old Town Farmers Market) or Downtown Market or both: Tamale Store Doctor Hummus Herb n Organics Been There Roast That Vegan desert folks - think they're called Guilt Free Deserts Raimondo's Especial Tuna Gil's Taste of Taos Big Belly BBQ When we first started going to OTFM a couple months ago, it was far different from what it is now so it will be interesting to see what Green Market becomes. Having some of the great local restaurants at OTFM was huge for me so I'll definitely be on the lookout for more food offerings at Green Market.
