I absolutely needed GPS to get out here. Plenty of parking and easy in and out of the lot. The service was lovely and the pastor spoke and invited everyone for food and drinks post services. The church was much larger than I first thought. It goes in and branches off to the sides and more toward the back. I noticed it the church had good natural lighting. The sanctuary was huge and filled with people for the service. I did note that there were no church pews but comfortable chairs.

He's in his mid 30s, so he down to earth, easy to relate with, and his sermons are always in layman's terms, so constantly challenge my thinking. He's wonderful with giving background context - what's going on outside the immediate Christian world, with makes it even easy - and intriguing - to follow along. This church has grown over the many years. I remember when member attendance was a solid 35-40 every Sunday. Now it's averaging at least 250 members. Along with member grown, youth involvement is raising. From community work for elderly members, to missions trips to Italy and Switzerland, involving the youth has been fantastic.

I was taught hateful beliefs here, most notably, to hate myself for being a lesbian. You can discover just how bigoted the beliefs of this church are by looking into the sermons posted this past June- Pride month. It disgusts me the stronghold this place has on people, and had on me, for many years. I am unable to even remain in contact with some of my own family because of how indoctrinated they became attending here. I know good people, people I love, attend this church, and I know firsthand how hard it is to leave. But if you care about gay people at all- run from this place. There are churches all over the city who understand the dangers of biblical literalism, who understand that LGBT+ people are beloved children of God who aren't broken for not being straight or cisgender.

I have learned more of the Bible & felt closer to God than I have ever felt before. Pastor Steve has an amazing way of presenting Biblical facts , in a way that makes it easy to understand , without changing true scriptural meaning. The Holy Spirit is definitely moving in this church. The non-denomination , contemporary, worship band service took me a little to get used to , because it is so different of how I grew up , but this is God wants me to be. I absolutely love it here. The congregation is so welcoming & Pastor Steve truly believes & lives what he preaches.

From the first time I approached the door, it's been a totally different atmosphere, than any church I've ever gone to. I'm 58, and I've attended church since I was an infant, in case you're wondering how long I've been in the church thing. Leave A Mark Church is non-denominational. Jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, sandals, are all welcome. Come as you are. What's INSIDE is what matters, not outward appearance. The true Word of God is preached, in common form, so anyone can relate to, and understand it. There is no judgmental attitude. The band, and the music is modern, and very well presented. Leave A Mark is a refreshing, relaxing way to attend church, and still feel God's presence, and receive His blessing. Again, you won't be judged---you'll be welcome, and accepted. We are ALL sinners. None are better than others. We all have a past. But, we can all make our future, and our eternity better. Our slogan is, "No Perfect People Allowed". We stand by that slogan. You will see a difference, over what you've seen, or believe, that church is. I'm glad that I go to Leave A Mark Church, and look forward to it each week. Come join us. Dress comfortably. This is a great gem located back off of White Road. They don't have a praise band which I actually…read morelike and they have a Vicar which is totally cool to see not only a seasoned pastor at a church but also seeing future pastors getting their experience here as a part of their schooling They also have a school and a ton of activities throughout the year many of which allow parents to actually drop the kids off and have a break themselves And finally they preach the word of God plain without fireworks or stage lighting or dramatization but as it was written so long ago. Pastors spend many years in school learning the languages to then teach the congregation right out of the Bible versus from their recollect or swaying conscience.

To the left is a cry room if you have small children. Plus, it has it's own bathroom with a baby changing station inside said room! There are also an assortment of small toys and books to keep the small ones occupied while you attend mass. For the most part this is a dressier church. I did see a few jeans and nice tops, but most were in skirts and dress pants. Decent mass, priest wasn't preachy in the sermon, I'd attend mass here again. For Baptism: The Priest was no nonsence ready to get started on time. He was nice and personable and explained what to do as we went. Stuck around for photos later and allowed photos during. He also answered any questions we had before and afterwards. God Parents were given information cards for proof of... God Parent-ism? So that was nice.
