We liked doing it so much on day one of a 3 day trip that we went back the next day when our fishing plans were canceled the second time. The second day I was more relaxed having had the experience from the day before. The instructors were very helpful and easygoing. They gave us the room to be creative and try new things, like using embellishments. Mucho Sweetheart points for my dear husband. I had cracked my noggin that morning and had to get stitches so returning was a happy event: they played music and were vey helpful. What a joyful recovery. The selection was much better than that offered by a competitor. They also permitted changing to other categories such as clocks, ornaments, pictures. I was happy with my sea turtle, and my husband was happy with our black cat; he had created a turtle and I a butterfly the first day. The price was reasonable based on 1.5 labor and keeping the end product. As a vacation event or a Date Night, it's an awesome idea and a sure winner if you have the opportunity. I wish we lived nearby: I'd go more often and take an advanced class. They are shipping my turtle and the cat: they had to finish it up the process.

I was in one of the aisles, bent down, looking at the Christmas houses for the village when 1 of the employees came flying down the same aisle with a trolley. She hit me so hard, she knocked me over. Then when I had the nerve to say something to her, she actually said I didn't have to be such a bi+ch about it. Eventually a manager was brought over to me. He offered me a cold water and ice pack and a coupon. Never offered to fill out a report or to bring the girl over to apologize to me. I don't know if she still works there but if she does she shouldn't. Then one of the younger men working in 1 of the aisles actually had the nerve to come out and say to my husband that we had nerve to even be upset because it's not like she did it on purpose. Like she insulted me and called me a name after she rammed a cart into me. Very unprofessional. Very unsafe. It's a shame that the manager didn't even really seem to care. I love Michael's but this definitely changed my view on this location and manager.
