I went in as a non-believer, but oh my goodness! Was I ever wrong! Jessie and Stephanie were vital in helping me get my range of motion better! There was a time when I couldn't reach back with my left arm to put on my seatbelt without almost crying in pain. I had trouble in the shower washing my back. I had trouble putting on my winter coat. I had trouble getting dressed by myself, and would have to recruit my husband or daughter in order for me to get my clothes on without yelping in pain. AON has given me the use of my arm back! Once again, I was a non-believer - now I would encourage anyone to get there ASAP if they need Physical Therapy. It helped to change my life for the better! Still kind of in shock... waiting for someone to pinch me because I truly…read morecan't believe how quickly I went from extreme pain to feeling like myself again within a few days. For context, I'm in my late 30s and have dealt with a herniated disc in my neck and cervical spondylosis (hereditary + a bad car accident) for ~15 years. My flare-ups are usually debilitating... days or even weeks of being stuck in bed. Lately they've been worse and lasting longer. This most recent one hit out of nowhere, 2 weeks after I thought I was recovering after a round of steroids and muscle relaxers... I woke up in the middle of the night with intense, electric pain shooting from my neck down my arm. Even breathing and the impact from just walking hurt my neck. I was honestly considering the ER. To add to the chaos... this was a few days before a Disney trip with my family. I found PMR Danbury while desperately Google searching that morning... and from the first phone call, I knew I was in the right place. Christina was incredibly kind, calm, and efficient... she got me in within the hour and handled everything so quickly (TY again Christina!! You are so wonderful). Then I met Dr. Tilden... and man.... there are no words. He listened thoroughly, assessed everything through an exam/X-rays, and got to work with a level of confidence and skill that instantly put me at ease (even though I was terrified to have anyone touch my neck). He used a mix of treatments (TENS, heat, cupping, stretching, adjustments)... and I felt about 70% relief right there. I genuinely couldn't believe it. All of this in 1-2 hours from consult, X-rays, to immediate treatment same day. He saw me each morning after that to keep the progress going before my trip... and I'm now ~95% better. I never would've dreamt that kind of recovery.. I was totally happy with that 70% and didn't think it could improve that drastically. That speed of recovery is unreal for me based on YEARS of dealing with this. I've done PT, injections, meds... nothing compares to the care, precision, and results I've experienced here. Dr. Tilden is truly exceptional at what he does and the entire experience from start to finish has been stellar.. they have everything you could possibly need there + the best in class to perform these treatments. My advice... If you're in pain/limited physically in any way, don't wait. Don't second guess it. Just book the appointment. You'll be forever grateful you did. I am so incredibly thankful for Dr. Tilden, Christina, and the entire PMR Danbury team... your impact is seriously life changing -- nothing beats having quality of life and being pain-free. I was put into the hands of Dr Craig Tilden. This man saved me. The pain I was experiencing was excruciating!! Over the next month the Doc put me back together. If it wasn't for Dr Tilden I may have ended up on a surgeons table and no one really wants that. I highly recommend therapy first over surgery. So thank you Dr Tilden for everything. My step mom has lived here for about seven years, and generally, Edgehill is fine…read more But I witnessed a very disturbing interaction with another resident. While at the gym today, a very infirmed man had trouble and was in pain to the point of nearly fainting. I asked if he needed help since he could barely stand even with a walker. I looked around the Ground floor for help, but there was no one. I recommended that he press his emergency pendent, which he did. No one came. After five minutes, still no one came. More time passed. Still no one. I decided to go upstairs to the main desk to say someone needed help in the gym. They said they were aware of the emergency call but could not locate him. I then went downstairs and noticed a woman had finally arrived. However, she was rude, and ignored his request for a wheelchair, and began for forcefully push him backwards on his walker. When he mentioned his frustration about not being found after pushing the pendent, she just responded, "I'm here now." I said she arrived only because of me notifying the front desk, and she again slightly angrily repeated her statement. I was appalled at her attitude, but more importantly, her ignoring his request for a wheelchair, which he clearly needed. I went upstairs to reflect what I witnessed and to complain. I was then introduced to a manager. I said that I would hate to have my 84 year old mother treated this way if she had an emergency.

She tried to get me to change my injury type, and documentation date of my injury like she knows anything about my care or my injury. Eventually I was allowed and then seeing some of the most incompetent lady who stated my injury was in my head or nothing major and this person was a physician assistant. My evaluation of my injury was sloppy and rushed. Now I was offered Pt so I accepted at the time but soon found out it was worsening my symptoms. I had to get a second opinion. Upon getting a second opinion I found out that I had a spinal injury which was massively affected by the treatment I received at this facility. I can say the pt they have are amazing but the docs don't know what they are doing. I don't know how they have their licenses.

Beware Dr. Paul Tomaszewski. He is fake all the way through but plays it close to the vest. Even…read morehis scheduler does not know that when telling a patient he will perform shoulder surgeon, he has no such intention but is too (pathologically) scared to reveal this to the patient and tells his well-meaning scheduler to schedule a high radiation CT scan. The only glimpse of the truth the scheduler gets is when asking the patient if Tomaszewski discussed the results of the test and learns he has not. T. strings his patients along when showing up for supposedly pre-surgical visits, maintaining his friendly facade, one of smiles to conceal ill-intent, not being at all specific about the procedure he supposedly is going to perform. When everything coalesces as irregular and the patient asks this provider if everything is okay, not a word is revealed that no surgery will be done. Nothing is okay when complicated shoulder surgery is involved. He comes up with one delay after another. Patient services tries to help the patient but he fakes out patient services too. When trying to make progress and ask if the provider's PA can be present in the appointment, the disingenuous response is that his PA sees his patients by himself. Patient relations called the PA to arrange an appointment with the PA who admitted that he does not meet with any patients independently. Dr. P.T does not want the PA to know that he never explains anything about the procedure or what to expect. When asking to buy equipment sold in company store, Tomaszewski says only he can bring the patient to the store and he sees patients and there's no assistant to fill in when he knows all along that there is an equipment rep that he is supposed to tell the patient about. The equip rep learned of his story and was perturbed. Tomaszewski has no role. He tells patient relations who the patient needs to contact to confirm the culminating pre-surgical visit will occur, because he won't return a patient's phone call, he tells patient relations to tell the patient they do not have to show up. The patient must to learn how to proceed and finally learn details about surgery. Once there, the provider alleges he did not return the call as he knew the patient would show up. He is evasive about his past experience with the procedure in question. In fact he's evasive about his background, having come from a factory-style NYC hospital to work in a holistic environment. He keeps saying surgery will happen so the patient doesn't make other plans but gets worse during the season-long wait until he sends a surgery order replacing visit notes which states to feel free to call before surgery if any questions and then when calling he admits the claims on the order are wrong and he is not performing surgery. The patient learns NOTHING from him. I invested much time making all of the arrangements for surgery, then having to apologize to all my helpers. The only way to talk to him is in an appt. He says he refuses to look at or respond to portal messages but his scheduler reveals he gives him his portal messages daily and he reads them. He won't respond. The secretary confirms he reads them every morning. Recent development: Someone new at ONS. Her name is Barbara Santoro. She's strictly administrative, also having worked in NYC typical impersonal style environment and unfamiliar with what distinguishes ONS in general, save for Tomaszewski and now her. In contravention of patient relations' genuine role of patient advocacy she believes when a provider engages in misconduct, the victim of it should be banned. She learned patient services is trying to intervene in recognition of a problem with this provider. Santoro, totally out of place at this office, acting to change its nature and undermine just moved this provider to a new location, rather than arrange his discharge. This worsens the problem. Now a new group of patients will be subject to his deceptions which are known and about which he has been spoken to. She discharges the victim who lost months, went along with fakery, showed nothing but respect knowing something is wrong. She ensured that he can victimize more because he brings in money at least for 1 appointment, never mind the right provider is there, and providers at the same place recommended others to me who can help. She canceled my appt with one to ensure I am denied help and the problem provider is protected, meaning patients are at risk. She ensures you're denied care, a 1st for this place, and that a problem provider is retained. Don't seek help when you discover any provider's irregularity here. With Dr. T it won't show on the initial visit. Just don't do a CT scan. You won't have surgery. Just see another. No matter how much harm this provider does, Sanoro's agenda is to protect him and remove the insightful patient. Don't be fooled by her asking you about the problem. It's not to help but undermine you.
