Good work but pricey. I did a interior work with Miller Precision Painting in Jan 2024. He priced…read more$2400 and upon finishing, requested another $400 because it took longer than expected. I recently proposed an exterior project and he quoted me $11700 in the beginning but later promtly reduced to $7500 because another 5-star vendor offered $6600 to do the project. I tried to negotiate a $6800-$7000 price to still perform the project with Miller Precision Painting but he rudely rejected with strong emotion. Based on my simple math calculation, he likely over-charged me by 36%. Also, Mr. Miller is just so arrogant during the whole communication process. I invited him over three times to meet in person but he never showed up as the appointments were. I am guessing it is because I have a foreigner face here and he never took me seriously. Overall, I have no problem with the quality of service provided. But the pricing and the communication needs to strongly improve.

Before he began with me he consulted with me and wanted to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted done. He even gave me some very helpful ideas to consider. One very important thought I had not considered was the type of paint to be used and why. He explained to me that not all paints are the same, such as interior versus exterior and their differences. His many years of experience allowed me to make an informed decision on the value of the paint to use. If I had a problem in one area, his many years of experience proved to be valuable in helping me understand how to solve my problem. Before he began to paint, he prepared the area to be painted paying attention to detail and covering everything to insure that there is no overspray or errant paint would contact valuable items or furniture. When finished he also would clean up and discard any trash not wanted. The job is not done until the area was cleaned up and the work performed was inspect and approved by me.
