While Dr. Bibi does seem very caring & is easy to talk to I have had quite a few problems with the services I have received. I am not sure if these problems have to do with him personally or with the nurses he has working in his office but, almost every time I get a new prescription or a prescription refilled I have had to call the office at least twice because my pharmacy tells me they never received the prescription order. As a diabetic on insulin I need my prescriptions when they are first ordered & having to call multiple times over the same one is very frustrating & can be detrimental to my health. While I was pregnant I had this problem & tried calling Dr. Bibi to get a prescription filled, that was already supposed to be sent. It was not during normal office hours, as it was on a Saturday I believe so the call went to the local hospital where I was told that Dr. Bibi was on call. They transferred me to his personal phone & he told me that he was driving & for me to call him on Monday. I am not sure if he lost the call after this or if he hung up on me, but at this point I was very low on insulin & very concerned about my health, as I was pregnant! Luckily the insulin I had did last me until the following Monday, but it took my boyfriend calling the office to get my prescription straightened out. The problems with prescriptions has been really the only major issue I have been faced with. Dr. Bibi did visit me in the hospital after I gave birth to my son, I believe it was the very next day, to check on my health, so I appreciated this very much as I had not been expecting to see him. The problems with prescriptions is a pretty big issue with me though & I would consider finding another endocrinologist if I knew of any others in my area, however he is the only one I have heard of & he already has plenty of experience with my situation. The wait for appointments in office are usually not too long. I have waited much longer for appointments in other places. However, if you are trying to set up a new appointment the wait could be a while. I have called to set up an appointment before & was told that I could not get in till the next month as he was completely booked up. So keep this in mind if you try to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Bibi.
