The barman was friendly and welcoming and brought our pot of tea out for the tea-totallers in our party :-) The exterior looks like it needs a little bit of TLC in all honesty but by the same token it has a bit of character. We didn't dine, but when we passed by an hour or so later many folks were doing so I'd certainly give it a whirl if I was visiting again.

Came for a Day Spa at The Garage, The Morritt recently. The place was lovely, surroundings were…read moregorgeous. As it was a week day it was really quiet. The Spa was very quaint, different to others I have been but very well thought out. Robes, towels and slippers provided along with a tour of all the facilities. Outdoor sauna and Jacuzzi, plenty of seats to chill in the sunshine. Indoors there were 3 treatment rooms, steam room, salt room and 3 tubs to soak in. Treatments vary: I had a sea salt scrub which lasted 25 mins and later in the day a full body massage which lasted 50 mins. All very relaxing. Included in the £109 price was a 2 course meal in the restaurant. Delicious, well prepared and presented food. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, which made the whole experience a delight. I really can't fault my experience and will be returning.
